I am not so sure that was what she was laughing at. It looked like spliced film to make it look like she was laughing at Laura

Did they change the rules of a tie this season?

In the past, it was that the two tied and to make fire and burn a rope. This time they said that if they were still tied after a re-vote, the two that were voted for would be safe and the rest of the tribe would have to draw rocks.

I'm honestly quite surprised that only John changed his vote. I can't believe that the others were willing to put their life in the game on the line to save Laura. They knew that no one that voted for her would flip so if one of them didn't, it was going to come down to who got the unlucky rock.

In the beginning, I didn't like Russell but he's really outplaying all of the right now. How smart of him to have Dave run after him when he realized that Dave had the rock in his hand but didn't look deep enough to find the idol.

To me it looked like a gut reaction. Shambo immediately laughed in delight when the spear missed its intended target. I think at that point, Shambo didn't care anymore if the rest of her tribe knew that she was betraying them. She knew her side was holding all the cards. It wasn't a nice reaction. She could have kept her joy to herself.

When he emptied the water canteens. Dehydration happens quickly in those types of conditions. In previous Seasons we've seen contestants get dehydrated..pretty scary stuff. They can just go refill their canteen in theory, but in those tropical conditions being without water even for a minute is really a terrible idea. What if something had happened to their watering hole? Crazy stuff happens on survivor all the time. I just think it was potentially playing with someone's life to empty canteens. There were plenty of other ways to stir up trouble in camp. You don't need to go to the option of messing with someone's health. IMHO

I really don't think it was that serious. They are not going to die because it takes them 10 minutes to fill their canteen. If something happened to the watering hole I'm sure the show would make sure they have water, they are not going to risk people dying. Where do you think the production crew is getting their water? It's obviously available.

I have enjoyed this season so much!

Look's like there is trouble in paradise next week.

This is by far one of the best seasons for me. The last time I remember having this much fun watching was when Tom kept winning all those immunity challenges to 'in your face' the young upstarts!

As to trouble in paradise, sometimes I think they cut the teaser for the following in week in such a way to make us think something is going to happen that is not going to happen.

Whow! What a show!! The look on Laura's face was priceless! So glad she's gone. Looks like no one else knows Rus has the Imun Idol yet again.

Yep..and I wonder if he's going to keep it secret this time. I have a feeling he won't. It's almost like he's SO proud of finding the idol, he needs someone to pat him on the back and tell him 'dude, you are the awesome!'

I hope Monica or Dave Ball goes next.

Heh..I can't wait to see if they talk about that during the reunion show.

What a great show last night. I was so glad to see Laura go home. And their faces were priceless. I loved it!!

And Erik is over there just having a ball.

ITA! We screamed and laughed and cheered! This is the best season in a long time, mostly due to Russell!

And I do think Shambo's reaction to Laura missing in the competition was a spliced edit. I cheered when she missed but told DH Shambo should not have laughed. But something did seem "spliced" in that sequence. Who knows.

Russell has brought a new level of play to the show. I imagine others will be following his lead in seasons to come (after All-Stars).

Last nights show was THE BEST!

I too think that they spliced/edited when Shambo laughed after Laura missed the target. If they had showed Laura missing the target and Shambo in the background in the 'same' shot then it would be a different story.

That is how they break a tie at the final 3. Before that it is a re-vote and then if it is tied, they pick a rock. If you get the purple rock, you are gone.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but I am so happy to hear that Laura was eliminated. I just couldn't stand her.

I am really enjoying watching Russel's gameplay. Like him or not, you can't deny he's entertaining.

Since the All Star season was filmed before this Survivor aired, can you imagine those people watching this season's shows. It probably explains a lot about what went on in their camps. I can't wait to see how Russell interacts with all of them.

That's sort of what I thought.

But perhaps, if she was actually laughing at her at that moment, it's Shambo's way of elation toward the fact that Laura finally wouldn't be getting immunity.

It's been officially confirmed that seasons 19 & 20 were filmed back to back in Samoa. CBS has not confirmed the cast list for season 20 yet, but it will be an all star version of some sort. (not officially confirmed, but verified)
