Russell is the greatest player in Survivor History!! I don't care if he wins. The way he has manipulated people, found the idols, pushed all the right buttons. I have never seen anything like this. Not even the mighty Ritchard Hatch matches up against this guy.

This episode was great! The only way it could've been better is if Laura had gotten voted off, I would've loved to see her face!!

idk about spoiler rules on this thread but if you highlight between the parentheses you can read what happened.

( Russell found the new hidden immunity idol and told Jaison that he had it. Jaison led on the other members of the tribe, those in the previous Galu tribe, into blindsiding Russell and vote him off as they didn't believe he really had the idol again. The plan was to make him think they were going to go along with Russell in voting off Kelly when they were really going to vote Russell off. They still thought Russell still didn't really have the immunity idol.

Fast forward to the elimination. After the vote, Russell pulled out the idol and used to protect himself thus making the person with the second highest amount of votes to go home. After Russell, Kelly received the most amount of votes- basically all of Galu voted for Russell and all of Foa Foa voted for Kelly. Kelly went home. Erik, being the first member of the jury was excited to see how everything went down, as a side note. )

I loved this episode!

Early on I thought the sooner Russell was voted off, the better. Now I hope he sticks around. He's definitely playing the game and is keeping this thing interesting.

I don't know if it's just the editing, or if there really are a lot of blah people this season, but right now I think Survivor without Russell could be pretty boring.

That was a great episode, I am so rooting for Russell and have been for some time now. Go Foa Foa and Shambo

I only hope that Shambo continues to hide the fact that she knew about the blindside tonight. Can't stand Laura and will be jumping for joy once she is snuffed.

I'm completely with you! I am rooting for Foa Foa, I'm liking both Russell and Natalie a lot more and now the two of them and Shambo are my favorites. Crazy enough, I would have to you the total opposite a few weeks ago about Russell and Natalie.

I'm just waiting for Laura to go and now I'm starting to dislike Dave. I used to dislike Monica but I can see that she isn't a threat to anyone really and will be nothing when Laura is gone.

I haven't watched Survivor ever since the season 2 and I am really glad I got back into it, it's great!

Great episode--I was over Russell finding yet another immunity idol. Like you, I thought the same thing--why not take out a challenge threat? I realize they were looking to oust one of Laura's closest contacts, but all of the Galu seem to be pretty tight. Getting rid of one of the guys seemed a smarter play.

Why is the Immunity Idol going back into play again? It was funny in the previews watching Laura and Dave running after Russell to make sure he doesn't find it again.

Great episode--I was over Russell finding yet another immunity idol. Like you, I thought the same thing--why not take out a challenge threat? I realize they were looking to oust one of Laura's closest contacts, but all of the Galu seem to be pretty tight. Getting rid of one of the guys seemed a smarter play.

I thought their choice was odd but other than that, one of the best episodes in a long time!!!!

OK, last night's episode was a huge turning point for me. I have to concede that Russell is playing this game better than anyone one in the past (which includes Rob, IMO). Even though I can't stand him, I am now hoping he wins. He deserves it. I have softened a bit towards him since the merge, because he has quieted down, and doesn't talk like he is God anymore.

Now, I think Dave has to go. WTH was he thinking? Everyone of Galu was saying they wouldn't be surprised if Russell found the immunity idol, yet he convinced them to stick with Russell.

I still can't stand Shambo. I don't know what it is about her. Her voice grates on me for some reason.

I like Jaison & Mick too but they are not playing the game. Russell is PLAYING the game! You gotta admire him for that fact alone.

Am I the only one who thought this was all way too coincidental? I mean as as soon as they found the immunity idol and said lets not tell FOA FOA, I said to dh- it doesn't matter, Russel will find one. As soon as it was planned that Laura was going to be voted off I said- she'll win immunity.
Don't get me wrong, I don't believe everything is planned out, Kelly was definitely surprised to be voted off, but I have to wonder why they didn't vote off one of the stronger men on the tribe at this point in the game

Why is he so much worse than Johnny Fairplay? He lied about being in Hurricane Katrina and I think everyone agrees that they didn't like that, but other than that he's just a smart, strategic player. Oh ya, he also dumped out their water and burned their socks! That was in the very beginning though. Since then I think he has been playing a great game and I really don't think he's evil.
