There's an interesting theory about this on some Suvivor boards... There is supposed to be a "Big Lie" at some point in this season. The theory is that next week is the challenge where they get to meet their loved ones. Some seem to think that Jon may have told his loved one to tell him in front of everyone else that "grandma died" or something similar to help him gain sympathy with the rest of the tribe. I wouldn't put it past him.

Jon= Biggest scumbag ever.

I have no problem with stretching the truth, etc, the way it happens on Survivor most of the time, but he caused most of the others to give up their chance to be with their loved ones because of this. That wasn't fair to them at all.

After I saw the vote, all I could say was "What were they thinking!!!" It was the perfect opportunity for the ladies to get rid of one of the guys, and they didn't take it? Who knows if Burton will ever lose immunity again....and even if Jon really had lost his grandma, it wouldn't have stopped me from voting him off if I was there. I just can't believe what a snake he is. He needs to go ASAP!

This was a good episode. But the men are playing these women like a piano. My guess is Lil will be out in the cold, soon. And Chris and Sandra will be picked off.

The women played a bad strategy tonight. It should have been Burton whom was casted out, or Jon.

They will soon find out.

What is wrong with Christa and Sandra? Sandra knows that John is the devil in disguies, he has back stabbed before why would he not do it now? What makes them think they can trust him once again? John is going to flame Sandra and Christa to get where he needs to get in the game.

I'm pissed now Sandra and Christa get everything they deserve here on out. Always trust your first instinct "Vote John's butt off"!!!

I had such an urge to gloat, that I started on new thread on the subject of John's "deceased" grandma. I knew it I knew it I knew it! As soon as he whispered to his buddy, "how's grandma?", I knew it was a bunch of bull!

I can't believe that Burton or John did not get voted off. I thought Sandra was sharp. Sheesh.

Ok. Just want to start out by saying I too can't stand John. Always have hated him and wished he got voted off every time.

I was speechless when it all came out about his Grandma. I think he has truly playing the game to the tee. If he can convince Sandra not to vote him off or Burton for that matter then he is playing the game right.

Can't wait to see everyones reaction the grandma thing once they all find out about it on the last episode.

Does anyone know when the last episode will air? We will miss next Thursdays because we are leaving for Florida at 6pm on Thursday night. Do you think the will broadcast the final episodes on the ship?

As much as I hate the guy....he is playing and lying his *little* heart out.

As much as I like Sandra...Sandra lied...just like Jon to save herself. I think she should have taken the chance and told Christa that it was she who took the fish so Christa wouldn't have felt so terrible.

After making an alliance with Christa and Sandra, she had to go and tell Jon about it. What on earth was she thinking??? It was this heads up that made Jon go after Christa and Sandra's votes.

If she had just kept her mouth shut, Jon would have sailed along believing T and Darrah were voting for Christa.

Just finished the watching the videotape. I cannot believe how dumb, dumb, dumb those women are. They really blew a great opportunity to dump Jon or Burt. One of the two guys would have been better than T!

From what I have read earlier in the season, Jeff's reaction to Jon's Big Lie was "Mother you-know-what"! And he also said the Survivors won' t know about it until they watch it on T.V. What a creepie creep that Jon is!

I've said it before and I'll say it again - This show rubs it in everyone's face the old saying that Nice Guys Finish Last. It just reinforces all the wrong values in life, IMO. Why O Why Do I Watch This Show!???? Some one PLEASE TELL ME!!!

I am So ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!!

P.S. - faithinkarma, you are so right. T shoulda kept her mouth shut. I guess that is what she meant in her signoff speech about taking a leadership role and it being her downfall.
