Voting Jon off would be my viewer's choice, but if I were playing the game I'd drag him all the way to the final 2. No one on the jury (I don't *think*) would vote for him to be the final Survivor.

THURSDAY ON SURVIVOR: PEARL ISLANDS

Having trouble sleeping, Rupert finds a spot on a log near camp and has a heart-to-heart chat with a faraway loved one.

A trip to fetch water becomes an opportunity for one pair, with questionable fates, to hatch a new plan and turn the tide in their favor. Will their powers of persuasion work?

Lillian has a slight anxiety attack.

One castaway gives selflessly to another.

The first one with Rupert has me worried. Makes me think this means this will be the end for him. I so remember Michael Skupin being interviewed and being so positive about where he was in the game and then being injured and flown out of camp. I cried. While not quite the same as this, I still fear this means Rupert's time in the spotlight is up.

The second one with the water I think may be Lillian and Jon which leads to the third with her crying because Jon talks her into going against Burton. If she does do that, she should turn in her boy scout uniform because she would be an out-and-out liar on national television and not worthy of wearing it ever again!

Giving selflessly to another makes me think someone gives away their reward challenge.

What do you all think?

I don't know that I'd agree that Lil should turn in her scout's uniform if she strategizes to stay in the game....it IS a game, and deceit is an integral part of it.

I agree the selfless act is a reward challenge, and I'm willing to bet its the family member one.

I just saw a preview that ended with this-

So since all the previews and last weeks episode have everyone thinking it will be Rupert, I think(hope) he's safe this week. Maybe it'll be Burton since Lili's crying about it, who knows. All I know is if it's Rupert, I'll be pissed.

I sort of have a problem with Lil wearing the BSA uniform. While you are wearing the uniform you are representing the BSA and I don't think that her attitude since she came back has been all that great. She has been so sour. I guess she's forgotten that millions of people, much less her troop will be watching.

I agree totally that it IS a game and that, unfortunately, deception seems to be one of the ways to get ahead in the game of Survivor.

BUT she chose to wear the uniform of a Scout Master and represent all that the Boy Scouts encompass including truth and honesty and not just fire-making skills. She chose to represent herself this way, knowing how the game is played, and she was making the statement that she could play the game without resorting to underhand ways.

I think she is the worst Survivor ever and if she ends up winning, I will be sorely disappointed (yet again!)

Going out and the recorder is on. Can't wait to watch the show after 9 p.m. tonight. I can't believe I get pulled in week after week and series after series. Mark Burnett must know me personally to be able to know how to draw me in like he does!

Ugh! I can't believe what has just happened! I will not be watching anymore episodes now that Rupert is gone; I will not be tempted by whatever shennanigans(?) MB cooks up. Back to Friends for me.

Ruperts speech was so...affecting. I hope he realizes how many fans he has attracted.

We are so disappointed and upset that they got rid of Rupert. He was our favorite. We can't say we are surprised; but this is depressing. There isn't a person in there that we would award the Million dollars to at this point. Sure hope Jon gets his just reward and get booted off next! Can't stand that jerk. Should have kicked him off a long time ago. Can't believe Lil is so naive to believe the load of crap they are feeding her. Would love to see the two lazy girls get off their butts and work for a change, too.

Guess our Thursday's are free to do other things now. We won't be watching anymore. Although, I am curious as to how bad of news Jon will be getting. One could only hope he was disqualified. Well, in our dreams anyway.

I have lost heart. Rupert did not deserve this. Jon, the snake, and a previously voted off Burton and Lilhave ruined the game for me.

They will now go after Sandra and Christa.

The feeling of the unfairness of having the " revived " ones coming back is going to help kill off reality shows.

It is going to end up just like Big Brother: Everyone tuning out because no one wants to watch a bunch of losers compete.

I feel like I was kicked in the gut. Not once, but twice. The second time when I saw Lil hold up her vote and it said Rupert. That's OK though, I'm sure that when Rupert asks his Jury questions, he will make Sue Hawk look like an amateur. I expect him to go off, especially if "Johnny Fairplay" is in the final two.

I thought it was interesting that Jeff read all five votes for Rupert, when the fourth would have been enough with two going to Darrah and one to Jon at that point. There was no way he could have tied with someone else, so reading the last vote was a bit pointless. Did I miss something or count the votes wrong?

I hope y'all don't mind if I chime in here. But I am SO disappointed that Rupert got voted off. I knew he would be the one to go if he lost the immunity challenge but... I still hoped that Jonny "Fairplay" would be the one to go. That guy is SO irritating.
