Rupert has singlehandedly breathed new life into Survivor.

I so agree. I've not enjoyed a season this much since Australia and I think it pretty much has to do with Rupert. When I first saw him I thought those other kids are going to give this guy a hard time. But he is so clever, strong and hard-working that you just gotta love him!

But...I also see this about him. I almost see him as a Richard Hatch. He is playing this game VERY WELL. I think this will help him later on.

I also think they should have booted Shawn last night not Michelle. I think once they merge, it could get messy and they may not want "strong" people.

And like Richard, I see Rupert having to win a key individual immunity challenge or two to stay in. Once the tribed merge, and it gets closer to the end, Rupert will be looked on as more of a threat simply because he is so well liked by everyone that there is no way he could lose the vote if he is in the final two. I see him making it to the final four, but no farther without immunity.

About time they got someone who really knows what he is doing. But I wish they would have gotten rid of that jerk Jon....what a loser!! I wish they could pay attention and see how much of a jerk he really is. It looks like he gets in an argument next week. Maybe he will be history !! Hope so..

Kinda off topic but has anyone else noted that Jon looks like Leo Sayer?? "You make me feel like dancin, I wanta dance the night away" I keep picturing him in cheesy white pants and rainbow suspenders...... BTW you probably have to be over 40 to know who Leo Sayer even was, but the resemblance is striking.

Jon does look a lot like Leo Sayer (and I'm not quite 40 yet)...

Of course, he isn't the only celebrity lookalike, since Rupert looks like Robbie Coltrane.

Just wanted to share that our local station is going to rebroadcast last Thursday's Survivor tonight at 10:00 p.m. They had some kind of problem with the fiber optic cable just before Survivor came on last week and didn't get it fixed until 45 minutes into the show. CBS usually won't let an affiliate reair a program but gave them an exception due to the fact that it was mechanical failure and also because of the large volume of phone calls received at the station. Now I'll get to see for myself why everyone says that Rupert is a class act!

Well, I have returned from my cruise vacation and Disney's own private island and finally got to watch all the going-ons at Survivor's Pearl Islands! What a show!

I saw last week's show in a hotel room in South Carolina and was floored that they threw the challenge and even more so when Morgan got to pick a member to join them from Drake. Of course, it had to be Rupert! Drake is paying for that loss big time now.

I watched the last episode this evening via VCR tape and this Survivor is certainly in a class by itself, as is everybody's favorite - Rupert! What a guy! I am just so worried that things will turn on him sooner or later, especially when the merge comes. He will definitely need to win individual immunities and, I certainly believe, he will be able to handle any strength challenge thrown his way. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well for him. However, you KNOW that MarkB hates predictable plots.

I hate the nagging feeling I get that Jon (the guys everybody loves to hate) is going to go far. I loved what someone wrote on this thread a little earlier - She would love to smack his head off or something to that effect. Made me laugh right out loud.

Was unable to get to RealityTVPlanet or the CBS fantasy league while onboard to make changes or answer questions. I had internet access on the ship but basically used it for emailing teenson and in the beginning posting on a "Live from the Magic" thread. Who wants to spend time on the computer when you are onboard the Disney Magic!

Can't wait for next week's episode but I only have to wait 4 days while you guys have to wait 7 days! LOL!

I'm really interested in this week's episode (who am I kidding? I'm interested in EVERY week's episode!!).....isn't this supposedly the one where 'the big lie' is told? Has anyone heard anything about it? Supposedly one of the survivors says something that either drastically alters the game or the way he/she is viewed, and then it is later revealed that that was a huge lie.....I'm hungry for more details!

Saw some previews yesterday which made it look like Rupert's stay might be short, that he may be the next one to go. Has anyone seen them?

If MB was smart, they'd find a way to keep him around for as long as possible (I know they can't do really that), He's the best thing that's happened to the show in a while. Personally, I can't seem them voting him off until the merge, but Drake has done stupid things before.

Some people seem to think that the more the ads hint that a Survivor is in trouble, the less likely that the Survivor will actually be voted off on that episode. I hope so because I'd hate to see Rupert go!

I hope they don't vote Rupert out. He my favorite player and the best Survivor yet which is why he probably will be voted out.

I can't see Rupert going just yet. Maybe after the merge, when he becomes too big of an individual threat, but not now while Drake still needs his strength. Not to mention he is a hard worker. Hard workers usually make it past the merge as long as they don't ruffle too many feathers.

That John is such a Weenie!! I could not believe how he was attempting to undermine Rupert in tonight's final vote !

I can only hope he's the next one to go!!

Kudo's to the lawyer from Chi Town--Savage--he showed what he was made of tonight in the immunity challenge!!

Wow! That was a close one! I thought that Shawn was going to vote for Rupert when he said "It's my game now" and that we would see a tie, with Rupert losing through some sort of "Purple rock" thing like Pappy in S4.

Jon has so many people mad at him right now. Rupert and probably most of Drake, and all of Morgan for telling them that Drake threw that one challenge. That was probably Andrew's motivation during the last immunity challenge.
