Survivor: Palau...official Thread

BTW,
I am so glad Jeff did what he did. He kept the game fair!!! He knew they would vote off Stephanie and Janu wanted to go. I am so glad he did what he did. I would have hated to hear anymore of Janu's crying!!!!!!!

From interviews with Jeff, they have said he doesn't know everything that has gone on at camp. He just plays off what people look, say, etc. And like Janu, they are SO ready for a platform to vent. Jeff just starts them down that road.

From another board on when the finals are:

Sunday, May 15 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) SURVIVOR: PALAU -- The ultimate survivor will be revealed on a special night. Jeff Probst hosts.

Sunday, May 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) SURVIVOR: PALAU REUNION -- The 20 castaways reunite for the first time since Palau live from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York. Jeff Probst hosts.

I was sooooo hoping that Tom and Ian were playing with Greg and they had an elaborate scheme to knock of Janu. I just really didn't believe that they would get rid of Steph that easily because Greg said so. So, in a way I wanted to see TC played out, but either way I'm glad Steph is still in the game. I doubt the female alliance is going to work. All the females know that Steph will kick their butts. Hopefully Ian and Tom will work some magic and get Steph back on their side.

I wish Tom and Ian had stuck with their alliance with Stephanie and turned the tables on Greg... :sad2:

between Big Brother and Survivor- I swear don't these people ever watch any of these shows- SPLIT UP THE COUPLE AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!!!! happened on Survivor all stars, happend on last BB. Greg or Jen should have gone tonight while they still have the votes to do it before Greg wins any immunities and it's too late!

Steph is probably my second favorite all time Survivor player (next to Rupert). I was so worried about her tonight. The key to the game now is to get Tom out of there. Tom is a nice guy and everything, but he has the rest convinced that they need him. TOM MUST GO! :wave2:

Go Steph Go!!

This is the best survivor since the first season!

Tom really is a great guy too. Can you imagine how hard it would be to vote if Tom and Steph were the last 2 standing?? WOW!

I think my DD lied to me tonight. I had to tape Survivor and I didn't watch it because she hinted around that it was Stephenie that went tonight. I love Steph so I couldn't bring myself to watch it. Who went??

Janu quit basically, is the short version of what happened.

I knew it! I knew she lied! If I wasn't afraid of her I'd go over there right now and kick her butt!

Okay here is what I think--Get rid of Greg!!! First of all, he wanted Janu kept around only for selfish reasons thinking if he kept the loosers around and he made it to final, they would have to vote for him--COWARD!! Come on, lets face it a TRUE Survivor isn't the person who can beat out the WEAKEST link...it is the person who can beat out the STRONGEST and I don't just mean "voting them off". I love this show to death and I mean to death--but it has always been the one thing that makes me fume is that the weak and people who do "nothing" sit around on their butts--get the free ride to the end or at lease to the jury--all because someone knows they won't lose against them. I just wish Probst and Burnett were able to do something to change "that one dynamic" GO STEPH!! I have not cheered anyone on so much since Rupert, and I almost want her to win more than I did him.
Say what you want about Janu--she made her mark in this game and it was HUGE!! I wonder if she knows the kind of impact she just had.

Dchef, I agree with your comments on Greg. I think it's a really poor way to play the game. I would rather compete with viable people. You need to earn your place at the top, not skate into it. Unforunately for most people it's about the money and not the game/experience.

It's hard for me to talk about Survivor, because I would never consider going on Survivor. But, I would love to be on the Amazing Race and for me it would be more about the experience traveling the world than winning the money.

Steph deserves to still be in this game. I hope she gets the chance to prove that she deserves to win.

:confused3 Impact??? Well maybe giving Steph another week to work the crowd....

I too love Steph... really do. And to me she is already the sole suvivor! (of one tribe, that is...)

I hope Steph does get the girls together, but I also really like Ian and Tom.

Cant wait until next week!

Oh and tell me what you think about the match up of teams on the reward challenges? Personally I thought it was really UNFAIR--I mean I like Ian don't get me wrong but the two "brut" men were on the same team...what was that about?

I guess we will all know the impact based on how long Steph is able to hang in--but still, to go out like she did and botch everyones plans--I thought that was the biggest impact of the game thus far, especially if Steph wins!

Well, I'm sure it was random. But, they had the two stronger men with the two weaker women. The other team did have Steph. I think they just didn't work as well together.

First let me say that I am thrilled that Steph is still in the game ! I am rooting for her all the way.... BUT.... I'm pretty disappointed that Jeff decided her fate, he has never been so pushy at a tribal council before and I hated how he manipulated the game

The thing with Steph is that neither one of the other tribe members have any idea what she went through at the other tribe--Losing every single time and getting to the very end and not knowing what was going to happen--they don't have a clue and that really upsets me. How can any one of those people say that they belong there more other than Tom..than Steph does. To me she has already been the winner and true Survivor--I am more passionate about this one than I have been in SOOOO long. I hope she makes it because it will make a GREAT Finally--No matter who she is up against...I think she can win! Tom might be the hardest though.

Okay, I have to jump in here--Trible Council last sometimes an hour or even more--what we saw was minutes. I think Jeff'f job is also to look out for the game. And he saw immediately after the challenge that Janu what failing fast. He didn't minipulate anything--he simply did what he always does and that is play on everyones emotions--it just so happened that there were a lot tonight. Jeff can't minipulate anything if people have the passion to be in the game--but if they don't, then they need to speak up. He asked her what the difference was and she didn't know, only that maybe she thought it was the process and it need to be played out--maybe she didn't even realize that she wasn't the one going home until Trible and when she found out that Steph was at risk, she need to do something. Don't blame Jeff he just gave her the oppertunity.
