Survivor: Palau...official Thread

He might have a crush. But last I heard he was taken! He is dating that young girl from the last show, who made it to the final 4. She went on reward with the winner to the volcano. At the moment her name escapes me, I want to say Amy, but I know that is not right.

Jenna Morales, isn't it?????

And that challenge tonight? Of course all the women are out first. Hopefully some immunities won't depend on strength and lung size so Steph can survive a little longer.

I actaully thought the women would have fared better in that challenge...women (generally) have smaller faces then men...I though the girls could have pushed their faces up higher through the bars then the men. (Although - Ian and Tom are quite slim...Tom was very smart with his hands - extending his breathing room.)

And - I'm sorry - but an all girls alliance? Remember, was it 2 season's ago? when there were 2 men left vs 4 or 5 women? The women ATE EACH OTHER UP and Chris (male) ended up winning survivor.

But - I DO hope that the women at least bond for a few days to get Tom out...he is the strongest male player right now.

Janu did botch alot of plans the tribe had to oust Steph...and I say well done...I HOPE it works to Steph's advantage and she can work some magic for next week.

Did you see the previews for next week-OMG! if the girls go in together-it's 4 against 3-But I don't know if I'd trust them if I was Steph! and I agree she is definately a great player- :cheer2: GO Steph GO :cheer2:

I love Steph and I hope she does not get burned but I don't buy the whole girl alliance. No way Jenn would go against Greg.

Ehh.. Janu just wanted a dramatic exit to guarantee herself as a subject of a Pringles trivia potato chip.

I think Greg or Jenn need to go next. Why are the guys not looking at him as a threat.

And I didn't think the teams were very fair when it came to the reward challenge. Ian does not have the muscle power that the other two guys have.

Had Steph been an unpopular player, Jeff would never have manipulated the outcome !

But, these shows were taped months ago. How do they know Steph was a popular player? They can only assume.

I agree with everyone that a flaw in Survivor is taking weak players along for a free ride. Anyone remember Lil? That was just pathetic.

I don't think Jeff manipulated the outcome anymore than he does any other week. Again, people tend to forget how much editing is involved in these shows. Jeff just plays off of the dynamic at the tribal council and asked pointed questions.

Recently survivor has been slipping because weak players are sneaking through to the later rounds. It is hurting the show.

I would have thought that Ian would be preforming much better in the water than he has been - he is a Dolphin Trainer after all! Does he not spend a great deal of time in the water for a living?

Just wondering!

I agree! Also I get so tired of the same strategies every season...tired of hearing the word strategy! Steph deserves to be there more than most of them do. It would be nice to see Steph and Tom in the finals.

I agree. I think that it would be nice to see someone win because they were hard working and talented, not because they were sneaky and coniving. (Plus I love Steph! Shee looks and acts just like one of my nieces. I bet she is a great pharm. rep!)

I missed the first 10 minutes. How did they come up with the teams for the reward challenge? I came in during the middle of it.

Wouldn't it have been something if Tom and Ian were going to turn the tables on Greg and vote him off?

I thought it was Ian that was implying that Janu should lay down her torch and leave, not Greg.

First part of it, Katie talking to Jenn (think it was Jenn) about, "how creep Janu looked at TC when Coby was voted out, not her. She looked like a jack-o-lantern." Janu overheard and called Katie out on it, asking her not to gossip behind her back. Janu flipped out a little. Katie apologized.

They never showed how the team were chosen, just here are the two randomly selected teams. "Suvivors, ready...Go!"

I think Steph didn't want to make a huge scene, pulling people over trying to get into an alliance, etc. why she is still "new" at camp. BUT, now she knows she is on the chopping block she will fight REALLY hard this week to stay on. Personally I would love to see her and Tom go to the finish. I think he was great last night trying to get those guys to change their minds about Steph. I think at this stage of the game when someone thinks unselfishly.... speaks so much of their character.

Also, why this game so different from any other I have watched is that this is the first few times that this group of people have gone to tribal council. So, before last week, there was no maneuvering, private talks, lying, etc. I think that makes a HUGE impact on the game.

I didn't care for Janu but she was awesome last night! Most of the people on her tribe (with the exception of Tom) weren't very nice to her so I'm thrilled she messed up their plans!!!

What was up with everyone in the water laughing when Janu quit the challenge and Jeff was asking about how she thought she'd get along on the island alone. That was awful.

I wonder if Steph's heartfelt plea had any effect on the other players if they had gone to vote. Do you think anyone would have changed their mind and voted for Janu, saving Stephenie?

GO STEPH!!!!

No, they would of voted steph out. They all know she is a strong player.

I am so glad Janu layed her torch down--but if Steph does go head to head with Tom-the whole jury will be made up Tom's team.

I'm pretty sure Jeff is seeing Julie and Jenna is dating Ethan Zohn...winner of Africa

I saw Janu this morning on the Early Show. She said she did not quit to keep Stephanie in the game. After being on the island by herself she had decided that she was ready to leave especially since Coby was gone. The deal had been that Korar had said all along that when Ulong members came over that they would vote them off. She felt betrayed when Coby was voted off last week and she had had enough. She was already considering leaving before Jeff started probing her. Remember she is the one who voted for Stephanie to leave last week.

Yep, I agree. These tribal coucils are sometimes 2-3 hours long, that's alot of editing to get it down to about 5 minutes, tops.
