Survivor: Palau...official Thread

Did anyone else wonder how Stephenie is going to paddle that cattamaran/boat thing all by herself?

We too wonder how long it took her to get back by herself-And I hate all the "Fear Factor" style challenges :guilty: Wish they would go to individual immunity already-Poor Steph by the previews for next week looks like she'll be alone for awhile- :sad2:

I thought the same thing, also how will she manage it on the beach by herself, she and Bobby Jon had a real hard time with it.

I agree...those half developed duck eggs were absolutely disgusting. I couldn't even watch them eating it.

I hope Steph gets to make it to the other tribe! I wonder if they'll make her compete by herself against the other team...but what happens if she looses? Would she automatically be eliminated?

Yeah I wondered about the canoe too. I also wonder if she's allowed to talk to the camera crew. Can you imagine being all alone in the woods with no one to talk to? I wonder how many crewmembers are actually there with her. Love Steph, I'm really hoping she makes it through to the other team.

Oh another thing.....I think I would rather be dirty and stinky than eat those eggs.

Agreed! The worst part of that challenge was watching Bobby Jon cram all of the eggs in at the end, trying to swallow it all. That was disgusting! It looked like he was going to hurl a couple of times. I think he might have had a chance if he had eaten them one by one like Tom.

Part of me was hoping that Ulong would win the immunity challenge but the other part of me just enjoys seeing them lose. I know that's mean  but I don't think there's been another tribe that has lost so many times.

I feel for Stephenie .... I would not want to row the boat back to a dark camp by myself. I know that she's not technically by herself since the camera crew will be following her.

This is just NOT fun to watch anymore. I can't believe Ulong lost again.

If I was on Koror...I would have flipped Stephanie and Bobby Jon a thing of toothpaste or a bottle of mouthwash. (Can survivor teams do that?) Not out of guilt or "we beat you again, but here"...but saying "good competition...you really hung in there"

Yeah...I really wonder how it's going to work now with Stephanie all alone. If any female had to be "alone" though...it would be her...she is one tough cookie.

Koror is going to dessimate itself once they start voting people off (when it goes to individual)...I think it'll be quite cut-throat actually...people are getting sick of each other.

Does anyone on Koror have a tiny speck of sympathy for Ulong? I felt so bad when BJ lost to Tom, and I was so hoping Tom would just walk over and hand BJ that bottle of Scope. I mean, geesh. Cut them a break. Those two really do stink at puzzles though. holy cow!

I was so excited when Tom and Ian brought up Stephanie, and their alliance of 4 with Kate! WOOHOO! Stephanie will have a chance! I LOL when Coby said they all made the jury. Assuming that whoever came over from Ulong would automatically be the first to go. HAHAHAHA.

I can't beleive they made Stephanie go back to camp alone. I know she has her camera crew with her, but they are not aloud to talk to her. Other than to do the interviews. I would be so scared to go back alone. Oh well, I guess if I was stranded and needed to survive, on a tropical Island, I would not have the choice of bringing a friend. LOL

I really like the way they are playing the game this season - it just seems to be more real. In the past when 1 tribe was dominating they would shake things up and even the tribes out - not fair to the strong team.

Remember back when they picked the teams and Ulong was the younger, stronger tribe and it looked like (on paper anyway) they would kick Kuror's butt at everything. Funny how things turn out when they let them play the game.

The Ulong tribe has had to actually Survive and now Steph really has to! I was wondering about the outrigger too, she will figure it out though - she is one tough woman! And Bobby Jon had nothing but respect for her, nice to see.

I was floored though when her name came up at Kuror for a final 4 name! When did this happen? If she managed to get herself in with a group on the other tribe at the beginning and she has lasted this long and will have to Survive on her own - she deserves to win the whole thing.

GO STEPH!

Me too, BUT, you have to remember, they were on day 20. At least for Ulong, they had not had much to eat other than coconut. No protien at all. So, they probably knew how badly they needed the protien. That probably helped them get it down.

Same here - I had my eyes closed through the whole challenge. It was so gross.

We were wondering, too what will happen if Steph loses next week's immunity challenge. Will she have to go to Tribal just to have her torch snuffed?

I can not imagine being all alone at camp! Yeah, she's got the camera crew to look out for her, so she's not truly alone, but it's got to be scary nonetheless. Can't wait to see next week's episode to see how she fares.

I don't feel like Ulong has an even chance with Koror in challenges. There's no way when they are competing against people who haven't had to do a challenge in days and who don't have to work hard around camp because they have so many people to spread the chores around.

I'm rooting for Stephanie but wish they'd just bring on a merge already. There are people on Koror who don't deserve to be on the jury as much as Bobby Jon or Angie.

I was wondering how she is going to wrestle that HUGE outrigger canoe off and on the beach all by herself? She and Bobby Jon could barely wrestle it off the beach... so how is she supposed to do that?

It is kind of depressing this season watching the ulong tribe just implode on itself. In prior seasons when one tribe really started failing... they did a mix up to change the dynamics... but apparently they decided to just let this go where it wants this time.

I'm so glad Stephanie won last night!

I knew when Bobby Jon started stuffing those eggs in his mouth that Tom was going to win.

I hope that they let Stephanie merge with Koror next week.

As soon as they were focusing so much on the fire when Bobby Jon & Steph got back to camp and Steph said something about "you sure can start a fire fast" I knew the challenge the two of them were competing in would have something to do with starting fire. I'm glad it wasn't some endurance challenge. Those two didn't deserve to be put through some long, drawn out challenge that wiped them of any energy they had left.

And I wonder what Tom & Ian do next week that hurts Coby's feelings.

Do ya'll think Koror should have used the fresh water for showers or drinking? I think Tom & Ian had every right to say how they thought it should be used since they are the ones who ate those awful eggs.

Do you think Steph could actually win? Let's talk hypotheticals for a minute. I'm guessing that there will still be an immunity challenge next week. I'm also guessing that it will be an endurance challenge since I don't think they've had any yet. I think that Steph could kick butt in that type of challenge, assumming that she gets some food.

So, let's say she makes it into Koror's tribe. When it comes down to voting someone off, I don't think they'll vote her. I think they'll vote someone they want to get rid of, like Janu. It seems as though she'll be brought into an alliance of 4, so they now have the majority vote. She could quite possibly make it to the final 4, with Ian, Tom and the other girl. I can see her either winning individual immunity at this point or Ian and Tom keeping her in the game over the other girl. So, if she can win immunity in the final 3 she makes it to final 2.

NOw, the jury has a choice of voting for their former tribe member or voting for Steph who has more than proven she can survive (OK, so that's assumming she makes it the next few days on her own.) Now the big question: Do you think the jury would vote for their original tribe member or vote for Steph since she deserves it?

Did I read somewhere that there wasn't a merge this season?
can't remember.

I bet it all goes to individual reward/immunity challenges now...but the 2 tribes (or rather...Koror and Steph) will never live together.

Interesting idea but if they are doing individual immunity challenges what would be the point of having Steph still living by herself?
