Survivor: Palau...official Thread

I always thought the jury hung out together once they were voted off; you mean they keep each jury member separate from the others? :confused3

At least in past Survivors, the jury is not allowed to speak. I am not sure if they are kept in seclusion of each other, or if do stay at a resort together and can hang out, but just can't talk about the game. This is to prevent them from having "alliances" once they are off the island.

I lost all respect for Ian offering to opt out to save his "butt" with Katie--WHAT!! Did you come to play a game or not..and Like I said before...good grief, how many reward challenges does Katie get to tag along on and when she doesn't get to go on one...WOW, she flips. I am so over this bunch--the woman especially OMG...both of them are and have been USELESS I think. I am rooting for Tom, he is the only one who I can say now truely deserves to win--and as a poster said earlier...they didn't take either Tom or Ian out when they had a chance that makes them pretty darn dumb!! Final 4 IMO...there are no alliences now--let the winner take all!

First off...IF Katie wins a challenge, who will she take? I bet she'd take Jenn over Ian in a heartbeat.

Secondly...the word "alliance" is a JOKE on this show. Alliances mean absolutely nothing. :confused3

Finally...I think Tom has been the best player and should win...but that's just me. :rolleyes1

Now that's funny! :rotfl: Okay, that was mean to say. Jenn keeps up pretty well with the guys in the challenges but I haven't seen Katie come close. I don't care for Katie, can you tell? (Which means she'll probably win!)

Tom is a strong player; however, Ian has won quite a few challenges here lately as well. Not to mention his "drama" with Katie which obviously worked as it got her back on his side. I think his "stepping out" thing was just to try and win back Katie... I wonder what he would have said or done if she would have told him he should step out.

I was just wondering when Ian was out talking to Katie, why didn't Tom try to get Caryn and Jenn to vote with him to take Katie out? Why does everyone want to keep Katie around?

Janice

Personally, I think they each want Katie in the final 2 because she isn't well liked by anyone, thereby making their own chance at getting the $1 million better. Just a thought. :confused3

bumping for tonight

I was expecting it on Thursday---and thought--oh man, this and The Apprentice. Thankfully I saw an article highlight all the finales this week :)

I'm not reading the other posts because I think east coast people have seen an hour more of the show then we have here. We just finished the first tribal counsel! How exciting was that but how stupid is Katie!!! Its like she can't stand for the conversation and drama not to revolve around her! Ugh! Tom better win the next immunity or he's a gonner! This is sooooooooo good!

Well I am so excited about Tom winning. I feel he deserved it.
SOOOOO funny how Katie acted like she was above reproach on the game.

Soooo glad it was Tom who won and not Katie. What was up with Katie's attitude at tribal council? When she refused to answer Janu's question, didn't she realize that it would have some effect on the other jury members? She said that she knew she wasn't getting Janu's vote but I'm sure that with that attitude she probably pushed some of the fence sitters over to Tom's side. How many votes did Katie get? I'm thinking Coby's must have been the only one *lol*

I was surprised that Ian would just hand Katie his spot especially after he got an offer from Tom but it's nice to see that he put a higher value on friendship than on money.

Did anyone make out what Coby's shirt said at TC? All I saw was the big green $ sign. I agree with Lisa Loves Pooh about Coby and Janu! It was very sweet :)

Oh... did anyone notice when Jeff asked the group whether anyone thought he made Janu quit and then Coby puts up his hand and he says "See no one.". :rotfl: :rotfl:

Coby's shirt said Don't hate $ with the $ in the middle.

I was very happy to see Tom be the big winner. He definitely deserved it. Ian gained a lot of respect from me for quitting like that. He really must value Tom's friendship.

That was really sweet about Coby and Janu. Very sweet. :)

I wish we could have found out what Steph is doing now. She lost her job by deciding to go on Survivor. I hope that company is kicking themselves and that she has a much better job elsewhere. She was a great player!

I was glad to see Tom win too although he really had me rooting for Ian since he and Katie ganged up on him with their holy than thou attitude. :(

I thought it was really sweet about Coby and Janu too. The best part was: Janu had NO idea Coby named his child after her. Or, she was a great actress if she did know.

I don't think Steph is going to be out of work for long. She has the look and personality to do commercials or some modeling if she wanted.

I guess what Ian did could be seen as a nice gesture, but to give away a chance for a million dollars for people he's known for only a month, I just don't get. I know he felt close to them and was upset that he had hurt them, but I'm sure they would have gotten over it and if they didn't, too bad. I hope he didn't have family back home counting on him to win, because I would be extremely upset with him, JMHO :)

When Steph was interviewed on the internet webcast, she indicated that she is once again selling pharmaceuticals.

Oh... did anyone notice when Jeff asked the group whether anyone thought he made Janu quit and then Coby puts up his hand and he says "See no one.".

I saw that too. I wanted to say, "wait, stop, Coby has something to say." Very frustrating.

I think Coby raised his hand because Jeff had also said something to the effect of "Who was in that group?"

Jeff said it was an update--and none of the survivors new except for one. The picture looked VERY new as baby looked newbornish--with new babes, you tend to show any and all and the latest photos.

I think it was the "surprise" of this survivor season--much better than R/A's proposal (though I thought that was sweet--but it was a tad predictable).

I think Janu was very surprised!
