I think this was one of the better episodes that I've seen in many seasons of the show. I was on the edge of my couch!

The guys were just so great to Christy that I now like Dave's entire tribe! I do think Heidi is going to regret doing what she did tonight because unless she makes it to the merge, she knows she's gone. I know things can change! Shawna makes me sick!! I can't believe that act she put on~gimme a break! I was expecting some reactions to the living situations but I didn't see any. This is turning out to be one of the best season yet!!

I think that the Shawna/Alex mutual admiration society is going to cause others on their tribe to feel uncomfortable. Shawna's a bimbo! I actually felt sorry for her-thought she was really sick. But what a miraculous recovery! Just a whiff of testosterone and she was cured...

I agree -- I can't believe Heidi did not know how to spell the feminine version of Jeanne. My DH said isn't she a gym teacher. I was hoping she would be the one to go.

I'm hoping Christy attempts to make an alliance of some sort with with either Roger or Butch and they can convince Dave to vote Heidi off if they go to tribal council next week.

Heidi is such a back stabber but Jeanne knew it was coming when Heidi couldn't say at tribal council that she was voting her alliance.

My first thought when I saw they were going to have to vote someone off was that Christy should form an alliance with the men. They treated her so well that it would be easy for her to really trust in them. She needs to convince them that she will stick with them in a merge whereas Heidi has strong alliances on the other team. If Dave's hormones hadn't been raging he would have known that right off from what he learned from Jenna.

I can't fault Heidi for switching since I was yelling at the tv for Christy to do it. The cute girls continued to astound me though. They showed Jenna giving all sorts of info out to Dave like alliances, while they showed Dave giving ages and career choices. I think Jenna didn't even realize she hadn't really gotten any dirt. Shawna was almost too embarrassing to comment on. I guess I can stop worrying about her health

Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh! I was so hoping that Heidi would be the one to go! I just cannot stand her and I knew she was going to switch sides because she thinks she can exert more influence over Dave than over two of the girls that she ignored and treated badly over on the other tribe. Unfortunately for her I think Dave is a little bit smarter and while he may use her for a while I think that is a very temporary alliance.

I think Dave is my favorite right now. He is playing the game smart (for a rocket scientist what do you expect ) and I think he seems to also be playing fair. I was very impressed with how he used Jenna's information about her tribe to his advantage. Jenna is not very bright - has she ever seen an episode of a previous Survivor...you don't give away the farm to a member of the opposite tribe.

Shawna is pathetic. I love Deena's comment about her change in behavior. The fawning she is doing over Alex is going to get really annoying next week from the look of the previews. I think that is a very bad sign for Deena because I think Alex can manipulate Shawna into voting with the men and I think Deena would be the likely target of a vote.

This was a great episode but I am really disappointed in the set-up with the "younger players". I think the producers were just going for ratings with that one. Send the two youngest (and therefore probably pretty good looking) members of the opposite sex to a camp with lots of wine and one bed.

I have to agree with all of you, Shauna was an embarassment. I certainly hope Heidi's betrayal comes back to bite her in the butt. Dave could not have made it plainer to her that Christy was next, but then she would have to go. She would have had a better chance at making the merge. I wonder what the tie-breaker would have been.

Other than Heidi, I really like all of Tambaqui. It is interesting that the youngest guy is in alliance with the older guys. I don't really feel sorry for Deena though, because she chose to allign herself with the "cute" girls. I can't help but think her days are numbered though. Next week certainly looks interesting.

I thought it was funny how quiet Jenna has been from the beginning, and then how she perked up and chatted non-stop about her tribe to Dave. Those "cute" girls...not too bright.

We thought that was a riot too about Heidi and the "Gene" spelling. (I repeat...those "cute" girls...not too bright.)

And bimbo #3...Shawna. I can't believe I wasted any sympathy on her.

In the previews for next week, Butch appears very fond of Christy, in a fatherly way. I wonder if Christy is going to get the support of the rest of the men...poor Heidi!

That whole Jenna/Dave get together was so contrived! I'm SURE that they were chosen for Survivor specifically for this "activity"...I think they planned the event based on the supposed storyline about young people and all, then made sure they picked two people who were attractive and the youngest, ie, they would never had allowed a Christy or a Rob to be the youngest.

I certainly hope that Dave remembers Heidi's strong alliance with Shawna, Jenna and Deena when it comes done to choosing between her and Christi. I would sure like to see Christi go farther.

Heidis decision will definitely come to bite back very soon. I hope they lose immunity next week and Dave turns on her. I'm sure once he spends a few days with such a 'cute' girl, he'll feel like sending her tumbling down a ravine.

This was definitely one of the better episodes they've had on this show and maybe even last years show. I was yelling at Heidi at Tribal council-No! Don't do it!

What a ditz that Jenna is. She has no sense of hot to play the game. She handed her team to Dave on a silver platter.

I know the producers say that these things are planned weeks in advance, but I can't help feeling that this switch was planned to give the bimbettes more TV time. Hey sex sells and they are hoping that integrating them back with the men will create some great sexual tension.

And did I imagine it, or was Heid making faces behind her back at the beginning when Jeanne was talking about going on strike? Not that I wouldn't be surprised.

I think once the guys get to know Christy and Heidi a little better, they may change their minds. Christy is stronger than Heidi, brings more in the brains department and can probably handle the physical challenges almost as well.

I like how CBS played up the injury to Alex and it turned out to be nothing. What a rip.

heidi was screwed no matter how she voted. i was kind of dissapointed that they merged the teams already. i really would like christy to go on but she really has to shave those armpits, its grossing me out!

Jeanne didn't feel Heidi would be true to their alliance, but Christy said she (Heidi) would. She saw Heidi & Dave talking and had inklings something was going on but there wasn't time to make a new plan. Her goal was to move the women ahead in the game.

Would she have eventually switched alliances and formed one with the men? Absolutely.

In past Survivors some really honest people went far in the game and she hoped she would be able to do the same.

They should have kept the strongest (Joanna) and gotten rid of Shawna. She had no idea Joanna was going.

Was there bonding going on with younger members? She thought they maybe they would see her as a mom figure.

Was she a threat? Absolutely. She never saw 20 yr. olds that lazy and using their bodies instead of using their intellect.

She thinks Heidi is a poor role model. Young ladies need to be shown they can use their minds, determination and spirit and she could see the younger girls were not like that.

What did she think of the episode where the younger girls were bathing? The older women do not have "issues" with their bodies. She would not trade her current body for a younger one if she had to give up the wisdom she's gained as a person in her 40's. She would have liked to have bathed naked but she wasn't going to do it before millions of viewers.

Dave played Heidi so much last night!! He did that so that the women wouldn't vote a man off weakening their alliance. If one man went then all of them would shortly follow.

If this team continues to lose immunity challenges you'll see the rest of the women get bumped off one by one.

Hopefully Christy will do something to strenghten her relationship with the men insuring her survival a little bit longer.

Now I was thinking Heidi spelled Jeanne, "Gene" to make it look like it was one of the men who wrote it that way? To not let Jeanne know who turned on her? I am sure she left wondering was it Heidi or Christy that voted me out?

Just my opinion, but Heidi cooked her own goose.

i hope heidi gets bit in the butt for changing her alliance. if she trades sides that easily don't they think she'll do it again? i hope if tambaqui wins they vote heidi off. they could do much better with christy on their team. i think dave just thought she was an easy one to change sides.

can you believe shawna's sudden change in health! i guess she just needed alex the magical elixer. i wish she got voted off last week.

i can't believe jenna told dave all that vital info. she should have know something like that was coming.

I don't see why Heidi would care what Jean thought about who voted her off. The only one she would have to care about would be Christy, and there obviously could be no doubt who had voted for Jean.

Too funny... SSB had not noticed that, but not too big a deal.

By FAR, Christy has been SSB's fave from the beginning. She has "real" beauty, as in being a genuine, compassionate person... and a great, outgoing, personality. Makes her WAY more sexy than any of the bimbettes, ISSBHO.

Have to agree a major mess up by Heidi, as if tied, they could have won the tie breaker and still had the numbers advantage. She was indeed, played like a fiddle... but.... not too surprised... haha!

Truly, a very good episode.
