Survivor Cambodia (Second Chances)

You don't remember the sea urchin and the peeing incident?

I remember after the Kenya season they admitted the contestants were in a lot more REAL danger than they had anticipated. Probably why they haven't been back to Sub-Saharan Africa.

Didn't that one have lower ratings, too?
I think we (the viewers) want beaches.

They mostly do beaches because with beaches usually comes fish. When they were in the middle of the jungle there wasn't much in the way of food outside of the beans and rice so it creates a need for more reward challenges earlier on.

Also I think it is weird they now get a bag of rice in the beginning and for awhile they were getting flint and steal. Part of survivor is well survival. If I want to watch the social experiment of people on vacation from real life I would watch Big Brother. I watch Survival to see how the elements affect their game play as well.

(just as side note I do watch Big Brother)

Mountains have lakes & rivers that could provide fish :)

I think I remember them talking about large predators coming right up to the walls of their camps at night. I think it did have lower ratings as well, not as scenic in many ways.

So sad that Woo was voted out. I really liked him as he seemed friendly and didn't get in the drama. I hope that Kass goes next. Glad Jeremy vetoed voting out Spencer. Why would you get rid of a strong player this early in the game. Good old Kass looks like she is causing trouble next week when the teams merge. Seems like they are doing the merge early lots of players left in the game for the merge. Should be interesting.

I didn't mind Woo going. Nice guy? Seems to be (It's TV, who the heck really knows?? :confused3)
But he didn't really appear to be much for strategizing.

I'm finding this season to be a bit more entertaining than some.
Since everyone's so keyed on making the most of their second chance, they seem to be playing (or trying to play) a bit better.

I like Woo as a person, but he pretty much had NO idea what was going on the entire game. I can't stand when players make it to the end because they were pawns/goats. So I would rather see him go now. But I am a fan of the gamers...the physical and survival parts of the game don't really impress me that much.

Sad to see Woo go but I didn't want Spencer to go either. Ciera is so useless she can go along with Kass and Abi. Not liking Stephen either. I'm glad they had a food eating challenge.:crazy2: Too bad Terry had to leave glad his son is ok.

Yep was good to see Terry's son doing well. Sorry to see Woo go as well though as others have said he didn't really seem to have a clue. I like Savage as well but at the same time not a very smart thing to do throwing Cieras name out like he did even if it was a decoy. At the same time she needs to get over herself. Her and Abi both get so indignant when someone writes their names down or in this case pretends they are going to.

Ooohhh.... here's a thought.
I wonder if Jeff will tell the group about Terry's son... and then Abi will tell everyone how much worse she has it because she has a new tendon.

And what the heck was with Stephen sobbing about?
"I'm playing Survivor for a million bucks. Bwaaa!!!"

I have a question about the gross eating challenge. How did they choose who went twice? If the choice was theirs why in the world did they let Cass and Ciera go twice when they both did so badly on their first turn? It seemed very counterproductive to me. Did I miss something?

I think Fishback is still caught up on his first season. He doesn't even realize Jeremy is the Golden Boy of his tribe and he is making the same mistakes he did last time.

They are at that emotional tipping point where they haven't had enough food, have been doing these crazy challenges, and probably miss their family. The producers probably prodded him a little in that talking head to get him to break down. It wouldn't take much for most people in this part of the game though.

Seems to me every year there are more and more food challenges. In that regard its just one great big camping trip.

There's no way the tribes would chose to put up Ciera and Cass.
Jeff must've told them who's competing.

Who was the woman who refused to even attempt to eat the gross food? If my team had lost because of her, she'd be gone. No one wanted to eat that food and most gagged, but everyone managed to try except her.
