I got curious about this and whether the definition of bail was just to empty water from a boat or more than that. This is what I found:

To remove (water) from a boat by repeatedly filling a container and emptying it over the side.

It clearly says to use a container to empty the boat. I think Sabago has a legitimate complaint.

That was a great episode. And what a show of strength from Rupert at the RC. To come from one Survivor and not really have the best of chances of getting your strength back before coming to the next one, then still showing that level of strength and stamina. Wow. And go Ethan, I thought he was great at the RC. I'd forgotten how much I liked Ethan.

I also thought at the RC that Jeff had said that the other two tribes would get the *blankets* if Saboga (or however it's spelled) took the pot. I think it was still the right move for them to take the pot and give *everyone* the pot, though. Whether it was done because they wanted the fire badly enough or they wanted *everyone* to have fire so they could have water doesn't really matter, it was a nice move on Saboga's part.

As for the IC -- I, too, thought the other two tribes should have been disqualified when they both just tipped the boat instead of bailing. Jeff very clearly said *bail*.

And I fell out of my chair laughing at the image of Lex et al trying to paddle their boat in 3 feet of water! I think that was the funniest thing I've ever seen in an immunity challenge, and would like to see a picture of that one again, that was priceless!

And I caught Jenna's rudeness to Rudy as well. I don't think they've had a Survivor yet where I actually *liked* a Jenna. Or a Rob, for that matter.

Sorry to see Rudy go. I didn't see the first season so this was my first introduction to him, and I really liked him. But I do have to admit I think that was the best move for the tribe. Considering the circumstances, everyone out there was in great shape for what they'd been going through, but Rudy was clearly in the worst shape of all of them (meaning the dehydration and lack of food were taking their toll on him the worst, despite his drinking the water unboiled). It was clearly a decision made for the best for the tribe.

I do wish that Ethan had hooked up with Rudy and Rupert (what a class act, refusing to write Rudy's name down and even *telling* the girls he wouldn't put Rudy's name down) and the three guys voted off Jenna. I would have *liked* that vote better, but oh well. It'll be interesting to see if Rupert hooks up with Ethan now or with the girls.

Is the transcript for Rudy's interview online yet? (gotta go find that link again)

Oh -- and did anyone else laugh at Colby's comment about the thing that worries him the most is they're all getting used to Richard? LOL!

ON my local morning radio show yesterday, they did a phone interview with Jeff Probst. He explained that their doctor told them they had about 12 to 14 hours to get the Survivors water before they started having problems. I take it that's why they gave them the opportunity to trade the blankets for the flint and stuff.
He also said next week was was a not miss show. Jeff said it would be sure to bring a tear or two and would be one of the top five moments of Survivor history. He said you won't want to miss because everyone will be talking about it. Kidd (the DJ) asked if it was bigger than the Janet Jackson thing and Jeff said no one could top that thing! The most interesting thing they had on the previews was Richard and the shark though.

Just another thought.....if Rupert's tribe goes to tribal council again, that would bring them down to 4....wonder when the 3 tribes will merge to 2??? Might be sooner than they thing!

One thing really did bug me, even my daughter caught it. As Rupert's tribe was trying to push the boat back to shore, did anyone else catch Jenna yelling to Rudy, "Rudy, get your butt up here!!" Not very nice!! Maybe last week when Jenna was sitting on top of the raft (lighting the torches) as her tribe was pushing it back, someone should of told her to get her butt off the raft and help push!!

I heard that too. I just wanted to slap her at that moment. But I wish that Saboga, had just dumped the boat. I was so upset that they were so far ahead, but then they fell so far behind.

Said to see Rudy go, but if he was haveing troubel running, then he would have hurt the tribe more than help.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Ethan and Rupert hook up.

And I am really getting tired of Jenna.

Were we watching the same show? The votes were split between Ethan and Rudy. Jenna never entered the picture. FOr Ethan to cote with Rudy and Rupert meant he would have voted against himself.

I'm sorry, I should have explained myself better by saying I wish that Ethan had voted with Rupert and Rudy against Jenna and voting her off.

Since Saboga is already down to 4 members I think we might see a merge from 3 to 2 tribes next week. It would be hard to come up with challenges that only 3 can do, and Mogo Mogo and Chapera would have a big advantge getting to sit out half their team each time.

I was sorry to see Rudy go but not surprised. He definately wasn't handling the no water/food well at all. They needed to keep Ethan in hopes of winning a challenge soon.

Can't wait till next Thursday!!

Long Live Rudy!!!!!

He will always be my favorite! I understand why they did it and it hurt me to see him work so hard and in pain but...I will miss him and thinks he is a great player and had a lot of spunk!!

It's so nice knowing all the contestants names right from the start. It usually took me more than a few episodes before I could place a name with a face. I had my favorites right from the first episode. Jerri really surprised me though. Did she hit her head or something? She seems totally different this time. Shall I say... nice? We'll see....

You gotta love Rudy! He is so entertaining to watch. It seems he has a real fan club going here on the Dis. I just cringed when he drank that contaminated water! So, so sorry to see him go. I hope all the good ones don't go fast!

Did anyone else see Mark Burnette on one of the morning shows this week? He said that CBS had signed up for 2 more installments of Survivor.

Speaking of Rusy. Does anyone remember the first Survivor where the challenge was in the dark, they had to move through the jungle and look for questions to answer about the island and its history? Wasn't it Rudy who kept turning over the question and saying "I don't know." It had me ROTFL.

YES!! It's very cool. Unseen footage from Episodes 1 and 2. I particularly enjoyed the tribal council ones where you see what everyone said as they voted.
