What a bummer....I really liked Rudy....wish Jenna or Jerri had gone instead, although he was kind of having a tough time. These challenges are TOUGH!

The one thing with having 3 tribes is that we aren't seeing much of what is going on with the other two----they really concentrated on Rupert's tribe tonight---hardly saw anything of the other two tribes. I guess that will change as time goes on.

I just hope Rich is voted off soon.....he is driving me cra-zee with his attitude!

I like Jerri! Hard to believe, I know, but she's playing well so far - and actually acting like a human being. I guess she'll start to show her true colors next week? I remember disliking her from the very first few minutes before. This time if people didn't remember her I think they'd be rooting for her.

I just absolutely adore Rupert!!! Anyone wanting a true alliance, should hook up with him. I loved when he said that he would not write Rudy's name on a piece of paper. My dh and I were laughing so hard during the immunity challenge. Trying to row the boat while it was sinking was hilarious, but I felt sorry for Saboga losing 2 immunity challenges in a row.

How about Alicia saying she could start the fire with no problem once they had the flint, but looked like she was having some trouble too.

I, too, was sad to see Rudy go. But they had to think of the strength of their tribe, and Rudy's 75 and he was having trouble with his foot.

The immunity challenge was sad - why didn't Rupert's tribe (I can't keep the tribe names straight) see the others pick the boat out of the water and dump it? And Jerri trying to bail out the boat by sitting there kicking the water out??

I was impressed with Alicia, just wish she weren't so "in your face" all the time.

I hope one of the other tribes loses the immunity challenge next week; I'd love to see Richard or one of the Robs go next.

Sooooo sad to see Rudy go! Just watched his interview on the Early Show (haven't done the phone calls yet, though) and he said he was really "burned up" at first for being voted off, because he'd been told by the girls that the plan was to vote Ethan off, but he said he realizes now that it was the best decision for the tribe and he bears no hard feelings. He also said he was really feeling his age this survivor, which disappointed him. What a man! How sad to see him off the show.

And kudos to Rupert, too. Gotta love a man of his word!

you know - I misunderstood the immunity challenge - I thought Jeff said they haid to BAIL the water out of the boat. Maybe that is what Sabago thought too and didn't think about picking the boat up and dumping it

Rupert had the best of both worlds last night at the immunity challenge. He knew that his vote would not matter so he did not have to vote against Rudy. But he sent an important message to the rest of the tribe. If I give you my word, I will stick by it. Brilliant!

I was also impressed at how strong Rupert was at the challenge. Then how vulnerable he was when he shed a tear about Rudy leaving. He is a class act.

I agree. It will be a sad day if Rupert gets voted off. I think he has integrity and am guessing he will go far if not all the way!!

I too was sad to see Rudy go.

They all seemed severely dehydrated yesterday. I wonder how long the producers would have let them go before getting them help. It was funny how some of them didn't figure out that rain water was fresh enough to drink until they sat in it for awhile.

I'm curious about something...do they no longer get to bring a "luxury" item? I know they didn't on Pearl Islands because they jumped off the ship with nothing but the clothes on their backs. I'm just wondering when they stopped letting them bring a luxury item...

I think Jerri is coming across as likeable this time around, at least so far. Very surprising since she was the "girl we loved to hate" last time. I liked how Jerri & Jenna were helping Rudy in the water.

I hope Rupert goes far but this time the Survivors all seem VERY intent on winning the million so with Rupert's popularity I can see him not making it very close to the end.

I really like Ethan and if a previous winner could win again I would want it to be him! I did notice he referred to the fish Rupert caught as to the fish "we" caught and Rupert looked like "we???"

Last night's episode was sure a good one!

I have a question. Didn't Alicia sit out the reward challenge and then sit out the immunity challenge? I thought the same person could not sit out 2 challenges in a row. Could someone explain what happened?

Curley, Big Tom sat out the Reward Challenge, then Alicia the Immunity Challenge.

Jeff clearly did say "You must bail the water out of your boat". Definitely not very fair since the other 2 tribes just dumped the boat.

One thing really did bug me, even my daughter caught it. As Rupert's tribe was trying to push the boat back to shore, did anyone else catch Jenna yelling to Rudy, "Rudy, get your butt up here!!" Not very nice!! Maybe last week when Jenna was sitting on top of the raft (lighting the torches) as her tribe was pushing it back, someone should of told her to get her butt off the raft and help push!!

I saw Rudy's interview this morning too. He is a class act. Would not say anything bad about anyone. When asked about Jenna he just steered around the question.

He was also asked about what it was like to see Richard Hatch again. He made a joke out of it by saying that after being with him for 39 days before, he knew it was Richard after seeing his behind coming out of the water.

Rudy's age seemed to be a big topic of discussion this morning so not a lot of information was brought forth. Even two of the three callers were asking questions concerning his age, physical abilities, etc. I think he did very good for someone of his age.

Drinking the water ther unboiled did not bother him a bit.

And he did consider voting himself out once his foot started to bother him but decided to hang in there.

I think that Ethan would be voting himself out either way he went unless Rupert gave him his word like he gave it to Rudy. So unless Jerri and Jenna have something really against Rupert, Ethan will most likely be the next to go in their tribe.

Were we watching the same show? The votes were split between Ethan and Rudy. Jenna never entered the picture. FOr Ethan to cote with Rudy and Rupert meant he would have voted against himself.
