Survivor 9/Vanuatu

With the next season of Survivor approaching quickly, so people at work want to do a Survivor Pool. Basically who ever wins the pool will get a free lunch!!

So I am looking for ideas on how to do a pool. Anyone done one in the past that worked out well? Pre-liminary ideas are to just pick who you feel will be in the final 4. Whoever has to most correct answers wins.. I think it should be a little more involved, like pick final four & winner. Picking winner gives you more points than just picking a final four person.

We do an office pool. The person with the most points in the end, wins.

We pick our top 4 survivors. We assign points based on the order in which they are kicked off the show. 10 points for the first, 20 for the second, all the way up to 180 for the sole survivor.

It got a little tricky there when they had two people leave the same week and then let one person come back. But we gave points based on their final position.

It is also hard to tell who is going to win until almost the very end.

I make a poster in my office with the tribemates faces on it and each time someone is voted off, I cross their face off with an "X" or the Survivor logo. I get the pictures and the logo from the CBS website.

O.K. so I am a Survivor freak!

Cant wait till 9/16 to see Survivor. I wonder what role Rupert is going to play and what the twist(s) will be...

we do an office pool on that. Eighteen people put in $5 each, pull a name out of a hat and that's their sole survivor. The first one to lose gets their $5 back. Then the winner gets the remaining money.

We also do a separate pool every week. $1.00 a week and you pick who wins challenges, immunity, and who gets voted out.
