Yeah I was okay with Eva for quite a while but I don't think she's choosing to take in the experience in a positive way. Her explanation of autism I think is going to end up making people feeling like they aren't able to be as "survivor player" as they normally would be. What I mean by that is pretty much in all past seasons if you had a player who was acting like she has been acting in the last few episodes they would be talked negatively about and more than likely be seen as someone that needs to go NOW. And you know that would be very appropriate given the gameplay environment that Survivor is.She is holding up a big neon sign telling them all they are next on the chopping block
Her explanation of having less social cues is understandable given her diagnosis but that doesn't mean that we can't recognize the behavior as offputting to be that cocky and I'm not really liking how people are shielding her. Meanwhile Mitch has his own disability, no it's not being talked about negatively but his gameplay sure is. I don't particularly like how the two disabilities are being treated vastly different by the gameplayers especially because IMO Mitch is just playing the field in terms of alliances but Eva is using her alliance as a means to almost come across as a bully. If you are on Survivor it means you made the decision to be out there.
