Survivor 23--South Pacific--No Spoilers**Wed 9/14**

If Ozzy comes back his only hope to continue in the game will be winning immunity.

Does Coach still have an hidden immunity idol?
Yes, he still has it. I imagine that's the reason why they haven't hidden another one since it's still in play.

Ah! I just posted a gigantic reply and it got deleted. :sad2:

Anyway I was just wondering who here was wanting which Survivor to win?

For me, it's Coach, Ozzy, Dawn and Albert, in that order.

Coach and Ozzy drive me crazy with how arrogant they are. But, Coach has been playing a fabulous social game... arguably the best of anyone out there. Ozzy has played a horrible social game. He really should stop with telling people he will treat them nice and then send them packing. But he is very physically dominant. Dawn has been a physical threat in the challenges, and has tried to play a social game, but has made some pretty serious errors (like not telling the rest of her tribe what Cochran's plan was... that seriously screwed her over, which she realizes now, but it's too late). She may win at RI but it's hard to say. Albert is trying to be a thinker, but he just isn't there yet.

As for the rest of them: Brandon, Rick, Sophie, Edna, Cochran -- they just listen to Coach and does what he says. Sophie sometimes seems to be thinking about doing her own thing, but in the end she toes Coach's line.

I hate when that happens.

For me, Dawn. For monetary purposes, Coach or Dawn because I win money if either wins.

I really like Dawn, she's strong enough to last and she's very likable. Unfortunately, Coach noticed the likable part and that's why she went before Whitney, even though that didn't matter. But likability is threatening, very much so. Side: I don't think anyone has ever been so likable than Alexis from Micronesia, she would have won hands down if she made it to the finals.

At this point, assuming all Upolu are going to be the 5 (+RI member, who will be immediately voted out upon returning and Cochran is left, it wouldn't make sense to do anything else), then Coach will make it to the end and will win, regardless of who is with him, unless someone pulls for jury votes. If someone does do this, I think Sophie is the only one who can, if it's possible at all. She'll have Albert's vote for sure and Savaii could really go either way.

It's a little boring, though less than last season. Last season, it was incredibly obvious that Rob was going to win which made it very boring. It'll be unfortunate too, to see another returning player win. They get an unfair advantage knowing what it's like to play.

This is why I disagree with you about coach's social game. He hasn't had to play a social game because, with the exception of the two they got rid of, his entire tribe have been drinking his kool-aid. He acts like he is the Godfather and entitled to be where he is. He isn't really that good a challenges either.

I respectfully disagree. I think the reason why everyone listens to him is because he has played a good social game. At the beginning, no one wanted him there. Remember when only Edna stayed behind with him and the rest took off after that first challenge? They loathed him and wanted him gone. However, someway, somehow he charmed them into first of all, keeping him around, to eventually becoming the lord and master of the group that he is now. I'm not exactly sure how, but he's done it. Otherwise people would have no reason to check in with him. He absolutely acts like a godfather and entitled, but they have allowed him to become that. So, arguably, he has played the best social game... from going to someone where they wanted to get him out that first time, to the mob boss of the group. And he's right too -- fear is an effective way to control people. He uses this and other tactics well. Whitney observed his cuddly side, the way he made everyone feel reassured in his group after the tribal council. Whitney said, rightly, that there is no way all 7 could be going with Coach to the final, but that is what he seemed to say. He somehow finds ways to bond with every single member of that tribe. Boston Rob did that very well last season.

You hit it right on the head. Everybody seems to forget that in the beginning, Christine pegged Coach as a target. The fact that he was able to swing everybody to his side is a mark of a great social game.

I thought they should have voted Coach out last night.

I'm sure hoping Dawn beats Ozzy in the next Redemption Island challenge. I'm getting tired of Ozzy's attitude and thinking he's so great and will just "treat everyone nice" at Redemption Island and then "send them on their way." Pretty arrogant.

Yeah, I can appreciate the way he swims like a fish and climbs like a monkey (That shot of him at the top of the palm tree was amazing). But, man! He sure seems like a spoiled little brat now, don't you think? Blech!

Please someone beat Egozzy! Please!

:lmao: Egozzy! I like it!

Yes, he still has it. I imagine that's the reason why they haven't hidden another one since it's still in play.

I forgot all about that!

I agree. I think he's played a very tight social game. But cracks were beginning to show on the last show. Now that they're down to 7 I think he'll start flipping out and people will start to lose interest in keeping him around.

Coach has played a good social game...especially when it looked like he'd be the first to go. I'm still trying to figure out why Edna and Rick signed on for Survivor if they're not going to play the game. I keep forgetting they are both there:lmao:.

As for big moves, the only one that had the balls to pull off a big move so far is Cochran...the one everyone says is the weakest. None of the others have what it takes to make a move and it will cost them in the end. Because of this I'm rooting for him. All the others are friggin boring. Although I'm holding out a sliver of hope that Albert and Sophie will do something soon.

If cochran does make it down to the wire then whoever else is there will think it's a gimme to take him to the final 3 because 4 of the jury were people he turned on and there could be a 5th if Ozzy loses on RI.

And I'm with the ones here that have had enough of Ozzy...when did he switch from being a bartender to being a prophet:confused3:lmao:.

I can agree that he has had a better social game than in the past but he did get a bit lucky with his tribe. With Brandon, Stacey and Christine creating the problesm they did, it was easy for him to turn the heat off himself very early.

Did CBS just spoiled survivor? Did ya watch the preview where Ozzy and Coach are hugging each other? THey said.....Did Ozzy and coach have a secret alliance?

Another preview, they totally spoil it. they showed Ozzy cooking with the rest of the tribe.
