Survivor 20**HvV**No SPOILER THREAD**

It depends. If either Rupert or Colby make it to the final 3, my money is on one of them. Though I wouldn't be shocked if Sandra won. She still has the idol so she's got that going for her.

It'll almost be anti-climactic if Russell's in the top 3. No chance for him.

I am STUNNED that Rupert and Colby are still there. 2 eliminations last night, and yet, there they are, in the final 6.

I don't think Russell can ever win this game. he's just a social moron. He's good at finding idols and manipulating people, but nobody on that jury is going to vote for him. My money's on Sandra--she does a great job of laying low and making key, subtle moves.

I know! Just goes to show that anything can happen in the game and no player can ever roll over. I wonder how long it will take Russell to figure out that Sandra has the idol? From the previews it looks like he just counted her out as a player worth worrying about :confused3

I do not think that RUssell will make it to the final three. He sealed his fate when he tried to pit Parvati against Danielle. WHile he won the battle I just do not see him winning the war now. I do not remember much about Parvati from previous seasons but watching her play this game now shows she is a force for fear. Russell made a huge mistake and compounded it when he threatened her. I think he is the next to go.

Everyone needs to remember that how we see these players is determined by what the producers wants us to see. They have made a decision to portray Russell in the manner that they have. Does this mean he is this way in real life, I don't know. I would need to ask someone who actually knows him. In earlier seasons, they portrayed Rubert as this great guy that everyone loved. This season, he has come off as more of a jerk.

As for Russell's game play, it is certainly one of a kind. It is in your face, beat me if you can. What he did last night wasn't a bad move. He determined that Danielle and Parvati had a stronger bond than he thought and he got Danielle to admit it in front of everyone. Whether that works for him, we will need to wait and see. I also think that he showed last night that in challenges, he can win when he wants to. So far he hasn't needed to have that immunity so he hasn't competed as hard as he could, he always held back a little. In the second challenge last night, he was determined to win and he did. I think he could do this at any time.

before the show started i told my wife that danielle was going to win. russell is playing the game the best but nobody is going to vote for him at the end if hes there. i hope its not sandra she hasnt done anything except been under the radar.

How was it a smart move? He lost yet another jury vote. The smartest thing he could have done was go to the final 3 with them. That way, they couldn't vote for each other. Plus, since Parvati has already won, that would take some votes away from her. Russell is just panicking now and scrambling. He's getting sloppy.

As for winning in challenges, I don't think that's true. No doubt, he can be in any of them, but he won't win just because he wants to. He just barely beat Rupert last night.

I do agree that the players are portrayed as the producers want them portrayed. However, when watching the after Tribal videos from Ponderosa, it's perfectly clear that no one likes Russell.

Russell should have won last season, but not this game. He can outwit, outplay, but he has no chance of a jury vote for him. No social game skills. I think playing 2 shows back to back has not helped him at all. Probably meaner and crabbier than last season do to no rest in between.

I do think he can make final 4 though. He can manipulate.

I think it was smart because he broke up what was a power couple. He also scored points with Rupert and Colby and that will make it easier for him to form a new alliance. If the villains had went to the final five as a group, I would have bet on Parvatti and Danielle making him the first to go. The only reason he is losing votes is because these people are bitter and are not actually evaluating the play when deciding on the votes. I don't buy the theory that they will not vote for a previous winner. If that was the case, they would have made the previous winners the first to go.

Rupert had a huge lead in the first part of the challenge and barely stayed ahead of Russell. He beat Rupert to the top of the wall and was ahead of him throughout the puzzle challenge. If you watch some of the past challenges, Russell only worked as hard as he needed to in order to make it look as if he were competing. When he needs to win, he does.

Yeah, that's true about previous winners.
I would bet good money there will be no alliance with Rupert and Colby. At least not one he sticks to.
As for the jury being bitter, that may be the case. But again, that's part of the game. You have got to have a social game to win Survivor. Russell doesn't have one.
I don't buy that about Russell winning challenges when he has to. Russell is an immunity nut. He always wants immunity, and there are times when he's thought he needed it but didn't win the challenge. I'm not saying he can't win any challenge, but I don't think just because he decides to try means he's automatically going to win.

On one of the secret videos someone (cant remember right now) said that Russell was just watching everybody all the time, that he didn't do anything else at camp, he watched everybody to see who they talked to and if he see someone he'll go and ask what were they talking and then ask the other person and compare the stories, I think it was Danielle, she said that being with Russell was like being in prison and watched all the time.

So, the show is edited in a different way for us to see? Sure, no doubt, but Russell is who we see.

He was also paranoid and jealous because Danielle and Jerri were flirting with Colby, he hates not having all the attention.

I don't think they're bitter. They see the real person and how he is. Colby said that Russell was the DEVIL.

Russell is responsible for most of them getting voted out just like last season. They're bitter.

Eh, I don't buy it. Those final 2 or 3 that are on there are ALL responsible for the jury being where they are. They've got to vote for somebody.

Russell isn't going to win because he can't get to the final 3 without screwing EVERYONE over. The best player (winner) will be the person who makes it to the final 3 without screwing everyone over.

I don't think he's soley responsible but I do think that he'll get blamed more than some of the other villians that are left because he's more abrasive.

And there is no one left that played the game and hasn't screwed someone over. Rubert and Colby have done nothing other than whine and over celebrate when they were on the winning team at challenges.

If it were me I would want to take Russel to the end. I don't think he would take any votes away from me.

Absolutely. There's no way to get to the end (that I've ever seen) without "screwing" someone over. But Russell is doing it to everybody, and not being smart about it.

Russell sure doesn't learn anything from last season did he win. He needs to have some friends on the jury to get votes. There isn't one person on that jury that is going to give him a vote. He has being mean and sneeky part down he really needs to work on the social game.

I'm reallly shocked with Colby he really doesn't seem to care if he;s there or not.

don't forget this season was shot before the final tribal council from the previous season.

He didn't have the chance to learn anything from last season. This season was shot before he found out he lost in his season.
