I read the "boot" list but didn't memorize it, so haven't known while I was watching who would be voted off!

Russell is playing the game as only he can - I wish he and Rob would team up instead of against each other. They could be a formidable force!

Amanda - why does she always look like she's about to cry? Sandra is annoying, and so is the skinny blonde girl - it's late in the season to be watching the groups at tribal and say "who is that,are they playing?"!

I can't stand Amanda, "Miss Doe-eyes" any more. If i have to look at her darn simpering , weepy eyes for one more second, I may puke. She is grating on my every nerve this season. I want her out NOW!

As for Russell and Rob, I loved that tribal last night. As much as I love Rob, I have to give Russell some props for pulling that off last night. I can't wait to see where it goes from here. And I am SO glad that I haven't checked any spoiler sites for a boot list. This season is too fun to spoil!

I'm sorry, but I beg to differ on the Amazing Race. In my mind, he and Amber DID win, but CBS intervened. (I'm sorry, but nobody will convince me otherwise). Rob and Amber were the only team on that flight out, and the plane had started to pull away from the tarmac. Uchenna and Joyce ultimatley MISSED that flight, because the door was closed and the tarmac was being pulled back. The next thing we see, is the plane backing up, the tarmac being sent back out, and WAHLAH...the producers now have a foot race to the finish line. (had Rob and Amber been on the only team on that flight, they could have walked across the finish line). Rob said it right when he was on Regis and Kelly later that week, American Airlines owes them a million dollars, and it's true. They raced like no other team in the history of the show had ever raced. they brought a whole new strategy into the game, that quite frankly was very entertaining. (remember how Rob convinced the teams to take a penalty and not finish eating that disgusting meat?)

Russell is all talk, and IMO, he is just lucky. There is no way he is a better game player than Rob. I don't think anyone is. I am someone who HATED Rob in his 1st two season's of Survivor. But after his appearance on AR, I have a whole new respect for him, that no other reality star can match. It just amazes me how intelligent he is.

Russell pulling one over Tyson does not mean he outsmarted Rob, because if Tyson had gone to Rob and TOLD HIM what Russell had said, Rob would have seen right through it. Why didn't Russell tell Rob he was voting for Parvati? If he really wants to come out as better than Rob, then he needs to pull something like this on Rob himself, and see how far he gets. He won't, because he would be chewed up and spit out...by Rob. Russell took a chance. He won, because Tyson is as dumb as a rock. There is no way that means he outwitted Rob..no way.

Once again, yes Russ did outsmart Rob. Rob's plan was dependent on people following the gameplan, if you can't get your team to follow it, you screwed up. So Rob screwed up! Russ beat him fair and square.

As far as The Amazing Race, look they lost! LOL! In my mind Russell won Survivor Samoa but it's not reality. So AA let the other team back on the flight, why couldn't Rob and Amber beat them to the finish line if they were so good? And also, didn't Rob and Amber get absolutely blown out on the Amazing Race All-Stars? They got like 7th place right?

I wish Richard Hatch had been able to be there this season. It would have been a hoot to see him match wits with Rob and Russell, not to say him shedding his clothes and the look on their faces when he did. I can just see Coach following suit!

I was a bit surprised that someone would state their opinion so forcefully begining with their very first post on the Dis. Then the more you posted, the more you reminded me of someone from the Survivor Samoa thread, so today I went back to see who it was... DisneyKing82.

King to Prince is a demotion, isn't it?


I think Russell made a big, gutsy move that paid off; but I also think it put way too big of a target on his back for him to make it much further in the game with this group. Just my opinion though.

Russell lost Samoa thanks to a bitter jury I couldn't believe how pissy they were, although I have seen worse.

And I think Rob & Amber placed first in the first three legs in ARAS and then were eliminated the fourth leg.

Ponderosa usually starts after the merge, when the jury selection starts.

I thought that they don't show them until they get to the jury but I could be wrong.

Apparently they're not together anymore; they broke up a while ago.

And I agree. Amanda's doe eyes were in full effect as James was getting voted out last week. It was ridiculous!

It would be fun to see them all as they got to their way station, interact with each other and see their reactions to the next person voted off. Amazing Race does it from the very beginning.

I completely agree with you. Two times Russell has made potentially suicide moves that any good player would not make. The first was when he didn't play the immunity idol in that last survivor. It was the last time he could play the idol and he wore it around his neck. Stupid move. Then again when he gave the idol to Parvati. He was lucky that Tyson was an idiot and he didn't get played.

I think Rob is the best player to play the game. He knew that a three-three vote against Russell and Parvati would result in one of them being eliminated. Unfortunately, Tyson was an idiot. You just can't fix stupid. Tyson had a 100% chance of staying by voting the way Rob suggested.

No, Russell in no way outwitted Rob. He outwitted a player without a brain.

Not remembering much of that season other than--even good teams can't catch a break sometimes on AR. They just had a difficult leg. Doesn't mean you suck when it comes to AR though.

Unless it is something stupid like not reading the clue, missing a task--etc.

I don't remember the episode though--other than it was an unfortunate loss as opposed to deserved.
