Survivor 20**HvV**No SPOILER THREAD**

I think if they had seen Russell's season, he would have been the first one voted out.

Exactly. How could they sit there, listen to Russell talk, and then side with him? Is the lack of food and water making them insane?

'cause Russell is a better player than Rob and THIS proves it.

Exactly! He stated to their face. But oh well, it would be fun to watch them destroy themselves.

Russ is the master of manipulation, lying, etc, but that does not make him BETTER that anyone, nor better than Rob. To be the best you have to be good on everything, winning challenges, making alliances, manipulation etc.

That's why Russ didn't win last season.

He got rid of Rob was his biggest mistake, he knew he couldn't fool Rob and he should had made an alliance with Rob at least until the merge, they lost their best player too soon. But Russ can't do that because of his ego.

Coach was thinking with the wrong head :rolleyes1 typical, he will be sorry.

Game over indeed. The villains are done for in challenges. Once the merge happens, see ya Russell.

Coach - Dumbest player ever.
Russell - Scumiest player ever.
Parvati - Most undeserving winner ever.

absolutely......dumber. She fell for those evil blue eyes and his lies!

I think that Rob and Russell both have matching egos. I'm sure that in hindsight they will see that they should have joined forces instead of butting heads. Rob could have played Russell along and then got rid of him after the merge.

I kinda wish they would have worked together, man would that have been an awesome duo.

Rob just seemed real lackluster tonight. Or maybe it was just in the editing. He just didn't seem like his heart was in the game. I think that he really had a hard time with the way things went in TC last week.

Agreed.:thumbsup2

I never liked Boston Rob until this season and I think Russell is one of the best players ever. Those two teaming up would have been great TV.

I do hope that people who've read the spoilers won't post about them anymore. I knew who was going home this week by all the posters who said 'Looks like my favorite player is going home next week.:sad1:'
Kind of ruined tonight for me.

I just love Probst's foreshadowing1!:lmao:

At any rate, I will miss my Boston Rob.

And coach is a little man. Dummy.

Agreed.:thumbsup2

Me too. I wasn't going to say anything but since you did, I'll chime in too. Tonights episode was spoiled for me because of the comments made last week. I enjoyed watching it but not as much as I would have had those comments not been made.

Honestly, what happened last night makes me, for the first time, question the "reality" of Survivor. There was no reason for Tyson to vote for Pavarti. It would have been a tie no matter what scenario occurred. Something stinks ... I think it's the scent of the producers scrambling to keep Russel on this season because he is obviously the guy that everyone loves to hate. Oh well, now the season is wide open. It's obvious the Villains tribe will begin to tear themselves apart, starting with eliminating their strongest players. That's how Russel works. Thanks to Tyson (and possibly producers whispering in his ear), Russel is now guaranteed to make it to the merge, where he will probably be a hidden immunity idol hoarder once again. Tonight proved to me that Russel isn't even one of the top 5 Survivors of all time. Luck is almost an understatement for what happened on the last episode, which leads me to wonder how much influence the producers had over that last episode.

OK, I have been thinking about this, and I am starting to think that the producer's MAY have some influence over what is going on this season. Think about it. Rob is brilliant. He knew how much Tyson wanted Parvati gone, and how uncomfortable he would be being part of a tie vote. so why wouldn't he assign Parvati to Tyson right from the start? If Tyson had Parvati, there would be no way for him to change and mess up the vote. What if, because I truly do believe these Survivor "celebrities" are getting paid a boatload more money per week than their original season, that this whole group had a sit down with some writer's and producer's and have "created" a season. Most of them have been in front of a camera enough times to get a little bit of acting skills under their belt. I can totally see this.

I just don't buy the fact that Rob would assign Russell to Tyson to vote for, when he KNEW he had the potential to change his vote. (the "I beg of you to stick with the plan, it will work" speech). I am sure Rob got wind of something going on between him and Russell before the TC, so he then could have told Tyson he was changing it up..Tyson vote for Parvati, and someone else would vote for Russell.

There have been many season's of Survivor where I scratch my head thinking the only way that happened was because of a set up by the producer's. (Don't get me started on some of the rain that comes down at convenient times). It is a game show, sure, and they have to follow certain rules, but I am sure Mark Burnett has found loop holes in these rules that allow him some interaction with what plays out.

I know people think those of us that believe the producer's can be involved are crazy, but we are entitled to our opinion, and this is what I think. Rob is way too smart a player to have allowed what happened last week, happen. Unless it was "scripted" and everyone was in on it. He's collecting a paycheck every week regardless of what happens. (and being the celeb's they are now, I don't think the stipend stops once they are voted out, they are getting paid for all 39 days, IMO)

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)

I've been thinking about this too. I bet the producers paid Tyson a little extra to vote for Parvati...just so they could keep their beloved Russell on the show. That's why Tyson didn't seem upset at all when he got voted off

Same here. I knew what was going to happen from what was said on this thread.

If Russ and Rob would had worked together, they would had kick but, but Russ's ego is way bigger and he couldn't stand not to have ALL the attention from everybody.

Rob is better overall, he knows the game, he knows how to WIN CHALLENGES, he know how to make good alliances, and Russ can lie and manipulate people, if the would had worked together all the way to the merge, but no, Rob was playing for the tribe, and Russ well just for him.

I think that this season was some how fixed too.

I agree Rob and Russell should've worked together! In fact I remember on the show tonight Russell trying to get Rob to vote out a weak member like "Courtney". But Rob didn't want to! He wanted Russell out, so he has no one to blame but himself. This is a GAME- Survivor: OUTWIT, OUTPLAY, OUTLAST! Not the loyalty game. At the end of the day it's how you stay in the game that counts! Everyone hates on Russell and thinks Rob is the bee's knees! But remember he's on the VILLIANS TEAM for a reason! Everyone seems to be forgetting that. Oh, well Rob's gone (his fault) and Russell is still there.

I don't think that we wanted Russell out, he just said that was not the way to do it, telling them to their face, because if it didn't work or whoever doesn't get voted off that person will hold that against you. Besides Russ pointed at Courtney and Sandra because they are part of Rob's alliance, so please! He did not wanted to 'work' with Rob! Sure he did. He also criticized everybody when they lost the challenge, well, he didn't even played it, he sat the whole time.

I agree with you, but I think it was to early, they should had worked more to build a stronger team right now, but Russ wanted Rob out from the first day because he was jealous of him, because Russ loves the girls attention, well everybody's attention and Rob winning or helping them win the challenges really made Russ PO, again because of the ego. Rob is gone because he thought about his tribe first, because he wanted to have a stronger tribe to beat the Heroes. Russ just wants to prove to himself and to everybody that he is better, that he is the best, bla bla bla, all that stuff that he always talks about.Of course all of them want to win, that's the point of the game, but even if Russ doesn't win, he will said that he deserved it because he is the best.
I hope he wins some challenges too, that's part of being the best a the game.

About last week episode I also noticed that it was too obvious that Russ came and got Tyson and no one said anything, Sandra was standing right there why she didn't go behind them like she always does or say something to Rob, I don't know, it does stinks.

I noticed that too. Lame, Rob, lame. It's as if someone told him what was going down and he turned into a sulky baby about it.

Courtney was in Rob's alliance and I don't think Rob would have agreed to get rid of her, especially while she was sitting there during this discussion.
