Survivor 20**HvV**No SPOILER THREAD**

Was Danielle one of the ones that stripped for chocolate and peanut butter?

I keep wondering about Russell and if he will be looking for hidden idols. I noticed that the villians fire was in the base of a tree last night. Good thinking! I wonder if Russell checked out the inside of the trunk before they moved the fire there. Wouldn't it be something if there were an idol in there?

If Russell does find an idol without clues like last season, you can bet the rest of the villains will not let him find another one. They'll pick up on that in a flash.

Can you PM me if you know what happens with Rob? I wanted to go searching, but I don't want to risk finding out too much info...just want to know if Rob stays in the game or if this incident causes him to leave.

Me too please. I really want to know, but I don't want to bump into any other spoilers searching. :goodvibes

I'd actually love to see a REAL spoiler about who the final 3 are. I don't want to bother investing a season of Thursday night's to this show again if its going to come down to all people I can't stand. This is one of those shows where the people I like almost NEVER win. With the exception of Tom, Richard Hatch and Ethan Zahn, I don't know if I can think of any other season where one of my faves has won.....

I don't know if what I saw is real or not but the site that I saw the final 3 on had Sugar as the first to get voted out. :confused3

See, and i am the opposite. I usually really enjoy the more "villianous" players that usually get really far in the game. I have so many contenders on both Tribes this season I can't wait to see them all!

Russell does have a huge advantage in that none of them know he is an idol finding machine....so i think he has a good shot of finding the first one. But I agree...there is no way the others won't pick up on that right away.

Heidi and Jenna stripped for the chocolate....I am telling you I can't find anything that i remember about Danielle. Only thing so far is that she lost to Aras. I hated that entire season so I think I must have blocked it from my mind!

yeah I've seen some lists too I just don't know how believable they are

Great start to this season. I was glad to see Sugar go - she is annoying. Although I do give her credit for not backing down in the challenge.

I liked Rupert and hope he stays around. But Cirie is just fun to watch. She is a conniver. I was rooting for her the first season and hope that she sticks around a long time this season.

Coach could go next and it wouldn't bother me. He is just whacked. Although he and Jeri could be interesting to watch.

Maybe the third time will be a charm for Steph. She is a great player too. I'd love to see her and Cirie go to the end.

Loved the opening show, loved that it was 2 hours long!

Did anyone notice how Rob says his wife's name now? It used to be Am-buh, but last night he actually said Am-ber. :rotfl: I sure hope he's okay, after watching next week's preview. Did he fall and hit his head? Low blood sugar? He's not one of my favorites and I don't want him to win, but don't want him to go home just yet either.

Some of the girls like Candice, Amanda, Danielle...they can all go, I hardly even remember them. Tyson, Randy and Coach can go quickly to! :)

Looks like it's going to be a great season, and I agree with whoever said that it's nice not to have to try and memorize names, we know 'em already! :)

I am watching Survivor for the first time in a long time...mainly cause Rob is on there. I think he is one of the smartest players, so I hope he doesn't go home just yet. Those previews have me worried, that maybe he will :(
And darnit, I didn't catch on that he said AmbeR instead of AmbA :rotfl2:

Doesn't it seem that they have a lot more clothes this season than in the past

I thought that, too! I missed the first 10 minutes and I thought maybe something was mentioned about that then, but I guess not

Please vote out Sugar tonight. Please, please, please.

Thank the lord, they voted her off! They need to keep that team strong (and they need to keep the people I LIKE for longer!)

Totally agree with this.:thumbsup2 It does backfire and I think Jeff has commented on that before at tribal councils when a team does that and basically sucks at challenges.
!

Yes, that strategy always backfires and often leads to a coattail rider winning and I HATE that! I would always rather see a battle between two backstabbers at the end than some lame player coming out of nowhere to win by default because they never pissed anybody off!

Okay, the Coach-Jerry love connection had me :rotfl: Hey, who knows--there's someone for everyone, right?

Sugar was great in the reward challenge--what a classless thing to do, undo her top, glad it backfired. I mean, hey--she's a pin-up girl, flashing skin is her middle name!

I love the concept of the Coah Jerri hookup. I can't wait to see where that goes! I kind of thought it was good of Sugar to stip that top off and go for it in the challenge. That was the best move she made on the whole show!

Haha, my favorite line was when they were in the boat paddling and Jeff yelled something to Coach about having all this experience in one of his epic life stories....I love that Probst.....

I :lovestruc Probst. He had the best liones for Coach the last time he was on, I can't wait to hear more of his barbed comments this time!

As for Spoilers, can we make another thread for those that want to see them? Or maybe just post links to good spoiler sites? I prefer not to check spoilers, so I wouldn't want this to turn into the spoiler thread. :headache:

Pretty please?

I started the spoiler thread, so head HERE to talk about spoilers in detail and we'll keep chatting about the stuff seen on real-time episodes here. Does that work?

I need a spoiler PM, too, please. What's the deal with Russell? I did not watch the season he was on. Thanks!

I got confused as I joined late last season, but they recapped it on the last season finale.

And the Russell that had the medical scare--had it occur during a challenge. He began leaning on a table and everyone began telling him not to but then he passed out and a necklace he was wearing caught on the corner.

They stopped the challenge and he had to be med-evac'd. Evidently he was very non-responsive with his eyes wide open staring into space and about as close to death any player had been on any season of survivor.

The clip of Rob scares me b/c it was reminiscent of the clip they showed of Russell on the finale.

Note--this isn't spoiling anything about Rob as I do not know what happened. But just explaining what I recall happening last season to another player.

Here are links to Jeff Probst's blog on ew.com and the EW guy, Dalton Ross, who normally covers Survivor. His blog is interesting this week, because he was on location for the start. He explained how the reward challenge differed in reality to what we saw onscreen. They played it to 5 points, not 3. The Heroes had started out up 4-0 before Coach drug Colby to the Villains mat. And while Stephenie did dislocate her shoulder in the first round, it was NOT during the battle we saw. The battle we saw was after she had already dislocated it and had it popped back in.

Can the OP change this title to NO SPOILERS?! Pretty please! For the first time EVER, I don't want to know! :rotfl:

Thank you for the links! I enjoyed reading them and especially enjoyed Jeff's video blog right after the TC.

EW.com gives GREAT coverage to Survivor. I always read Dalton's stuff I absolutely adore Jeff's blogs. They are so insightful and fascinating. He really has a great perspective on the show.

The only thing I disagree with Dalton is that he thought 2 hours was too long. I loved every second of it. It is so interesting to see all the camp stuff...and with so many personalities it was nice to see everyone get some camera time. It would be even better if they did a 2 hour premiere on non-all star rounds so we can actually get to know all the contestants. Not like last season where I never even saw Brett until the merge :lmao: And the Rob/Coach coconut tree thing was hysterical. Seeing Sandra and Rob play coach like a fiddle was so good!
