LOVED LOVED LOVED the show. I am so glad they did two hours with those supersized personalities.

I will say it again, I think Cirie is absolutely hysterical. I hope she goes far because she cracks me up.

OMG, the Coach and Jerri thing. That was so funny. It really looked like there was something there! I am surprised by how calm Coach seems so far.

Boston Rob is awesome. You can tell he is having a blast. I know it isn't popular opinion, but I really like Parvati as well. Actually I like most of the Villians....haha, I don't know what that says about me

I was surprised Rupert wasn't even considered in the vote, especially with the toe issue. I have read that Sugar and Rupert are extremely unpopular among the players, despite their public edit. I think Cirie and Amanda were right in their thinking, but I also think that it was just a tad too early to make that move.

Does anyone else have zero recollection of Danielle. I have watched every season, actively participated in message boards etc and I don't remember her AT ALL. Not one bit. That was really bizarre to me.

Finally, who else laughed out loud when Sugar couldn't figure out the pen at Tribal. I cracked up!

Can't wait until next week!!!!

I have not watched every season of survivor, so I don't remember everyone. I used to watch it when it started, so it is nice to see those from way back then! I LOVED Rupert when he was on the first time- nice, family guy. He cried when he saw his wife. He did seem a little annoying last night, though. We'll see how it goes.
I was totally cheering when the heroes won the first challenge. TG- they had to do something after Coach dragged Colby to the mat. Poor guy!
it was totally crappy to undo Sugar's top. But really, who wouldn't go for it topless? I don't think you can be modest on Survivor!
Russell- Irritating!
Coach/Jerry love- Interesting!
Rob/Coach- Clas of the Titans! I am pumped!

I thought he said Russell was the villian of all time in the beginning when they for landed on the island and everyone looked at him.

Haha, my favorite line was when they were in the boat paddling and Jeff yelled something to Coach about having all this experience in one of his epic life stories....I love that Probst.....

Should be a great season! It is nice to already know the personalities of the players right from the start. It usually takes a few shows to figure everyone out. Even the players "know" each other from watching each season, which makes it a very different kind of start. The majority of players are over 30 years old, will be interesting.

Can't believe how they put such a rough challenge right at the start, ouch. Russell will have a hard time with competitive players, he'll be fun to watch, if he stays around. Glad Sugar is gone, she was hard to watch. (I just read that she lives an hour away from me in Baton Rouge, LA. Didn't know that.)

Looking forward to following this thread as the season goes along.

Can't wait for next week's show, Hope Rob is ok.

Why is Sandra a villian? She contributed nothing in her original season, other than to go along with Rupert, then she coat-tailed to the end to win, because she did NOTHING to backstab the jury.

Watching her last night, reminded me how much of nothing she did in her season. She just sits back and lets everyone else do the conniving. How did she end up on the villian side?

Does anyone else think Mark Burnettc has wiped Season 5 from his memory? LOL It was the worst season ever, and I have not seen one person from it since. (Ok, I think Shii-Ann made the all star show, but that is it)

I'm guessing that was a camera trick.

As for his condition--I'm concerned. Last season I did not see the incident with Russell..but the fact they are checking him out in a similar fashion frightens me.

One of those cases where I wish I could find a spoiler.

I would be inclined to believe that the camera staff has a radio and can immediately get a medic out there.

I recall in prior seasons--both on show and in after show comments--there is a medic tent that is camped near the team. They showed it on Australia when what's his name fell in the campfire.

Enjoyed the show tonight--but not liking the injuries so early and certainly Rob's medical scare.

Is Danielle the sportscaster who recognized and ratted out the football player and then beat Stephanie out of one of the last challenges because she was taller than Stephanie and able to lean on a board or something rather than hold it up like Stephanie had to do? I think that was a different person....Dani. THat is who I thought this person was the whole time, but then last night I thought Oops, have the wrong person. I am googling right now to try and find out what she did because I don't remember her at all.

I watched the last season and I have no idea what you're all talkin' about.

There were 2 Russell on last season. Evil Russell and tribe leader Russell.

I haven't found a spoiler yet about what happened to Rob but I'm betting it is not as big a deal as the scenes led us to believe.

I'd actually love to see a REAL spoiler about who the final 3 are. I don't want to bother investing a season of Thursday night's to this show again if its going to come down to all people I can't stand. This is one of those shows where the people I like almost NEVER win. With the exception of Tom, Richard Hatch and Ethan Zahn, I don't know if I can think of any other season where one of my faves has won.....
