Survivor 20**HvV**No SPOILER THREAD**

A little off topic, but have you all heard the sad news about Jennifer Lyon? She passed away from breast cancer. She was a final four contestant on Survivor: Palau. Here's a very nice article where Jeff Probst talks about Jennifer...

I don't really remember her but that is very sad. I hadn't heard about that.

BTW, I love that castle picture in your signature! :thumbsup2

Heads up! My mom saw in the paper today that there was going to be a Surviving Survivor on tonight at 7:00. Anyone else's paper say that?

Thanks! I had no idea that was on tonight. I'll get home from work just in time to watch it.

Interesting nugget I found in People:

Wow, I share those sentiment EXACTLY, Richard. This is one of many reasons I have no problem with Russel losing. The guy was a total d-bag to all the jury members and forgot that the difficulty of winning survivor is being able to balance between being likable and evil at the same time. He was too evil to win over the jury, as we all saw on the finale. I don't want to spark a Russel debate again, but I did think it was important to have the original winner shed some light on the situation.

Hopefully Russel learns from S19. He knows how to get to the end of the game unlike any contestant I have seen in this game. Now he just has to learn how to stop burning his bridges. Season 20 should be interesting. I'm giddy with excitement.

I don't think that he played this game any differently than he did his first one. Villains/Heroes filmed long before the finale where the money was awarded so he probably was still thinking that he was going to be named the winner and went with the same strategy.

I do agree that I think that this is going to be a good season and can't wait for it to start!

They mentioned it on the View this morning. Guess it is a good lead into the show next week. Maybe show some of them we forgot were even on.....:lmao:

I enjoyed the special tonight. It was good to catch up on how some of the past Survivors was doing. They kept teasing us with a showdown between Richard Hatch and Russell but all we got was the teasers.

Can't wait until next week!

I enjoyed last nights "Surviving Survivor" show, seeing clips of past shows and seeing the heroes and villains who are going to be on. I'll be rooting for Rupert, he's been my favorite since I first saw him so I'm really looking forward to him being back. Loved seeing his day-to-day life working with the kids. He's doing something really good with his life.

I'll be rooting for Ethan too, he has sure had a hard road with that rare form of cancer.

So many favorite people coming back, it's going to be a great season!!

My heart broke for Ethan,he has been one of my faves and it hard to see him so thin and sick:sad2: I could hardly recognize Jenna, I wish when they were talking about survivor couples they would talk about Jeff and Julie
