Rode FEA this Saturday for the first time. Spoiler Alert: Had I wanted 75+ minutes in line for THAT, I would have seriously started reconsidering my life priorities. We got a fastpass so I didn't wait long.

I was sincerely impressed by the animatronics. The slightly older generation of animatronics debuted at The Little Mermaid ride were creepy. These however, were absolutely brilliant.

Anyway, there was a surveyor as soon as we got off the ride that asked us if we would participate in the survey.

A few of her questions were(that I can remember):

How did you learn of this new attraction?
How long did you wait in line?
Did you have a fastpass?
Would you ride this ride again?

I found the last question interesting for some reason as well as my response.

I said no.

Whoa really? Why didn't you like it?

I haven't rode it yet, but from the vids I've seen it seems like a big upgrade from the last attraction.

The animatronics are amazing. The beginning and middle are pretty awesome, but the end... blah. It climaxes in the middle and the rest of it is pretty uninteresting. It says you are going to visit Elsa in her ice palace, which is the middle of the ride. I would have liked to have been "inside" the ice palace. You see Elsa standing on a balcony singing, go down the track backward out of the ice castle and then go back down in the village where Anna and Elsa are wearing their summer outfits waving goodbye.

The middle of the attraction is the absolute star. This part was phenomenally well done. However, this is not worth a wait over 15 minutes.

Whoa...really...

It's not very good. Seriously

:stitch2: You made me laugh and almost spit out my Diet Coke.

I think it has to at least be better than Maelstrom though. Even though I loved it as a child, I eventually began to see its flaws.

The light would always blind me at the beginning when it's making its ascent. Then the viking boats would go passed stationery mannequins of people and bears. I don't think they had many animatronics just stationery figures like a department store. The movie afterwards wasn't worth writing home about either. People usually walked through the theater and skipped it.
