I have read all of the pages of the Budget Board and see that some of you ladies do surveys to make "disney" money.

Is there anything any one else does or any saving tips anyone has?

My daughter and I made a savings jar tonight and we have some money for it but any extra would be helpful.

Thank you in dvance for your suggestions and advice.:yay:

My friend, her husband and her mom and dad (mom/dad sit for her kids every day) emptied their pockets of all loose change every day and put it into a jug. At the end of 6 months they had around $300!!!

My mom stopped buying her daily Dunkin Donuts coffee, and instead just bought a pound of coffee every 10 days or so... she put the $2 that she would have spent into a jar and also had a good chunk of money after a couple of months! (but she literally spends that $2 every.single.day! it's figured into her monthly budget!)

I do surveys and brought around $200 in gift cards this trip. I also do the change jar for spare change.

I do surveys to on quickrewards.net that pays well. I used the money. Sometimes transfer into my paypal account or gift cards. Right now I am Wal-mart gift card kick because I use for food and gifts for the holidays. Holidays is expensive and every little bit help.

Do swagbucks, zoombucks, mypoints, and more. I have paid for vacations, home improvements, and gifts with survey money.

Just make sure have plenty of time to do surveys. Because it is time comsuming.

I do www.mysurvey.com I've been happy with them for years. Also, I am a big fan of Ebates. When you shop online go through them. Since 2009 I've earned $173 to date.

I do a lot of surveys to fund my trip. My favorites are:

Opinion Outpost (pays in check or Amazon gc)
Lightspeed (pays in Paypal, Amazon gc, or a bunch of other things)
My Survey (same as Lightspeed)
Valued Opinions (pays in Amazon gcs or a couple of other things)
Reward Port Surveys (pays in Paypal, Amazon gc, or a couple other things)

I also do click to earn sites.

There's always Swagbucks too.

None of the money for our trip is coming from our paychecks, so these are the other things I've done to save for Disney:

Save extra change
Return cans/bottles for deposits
Yard sale
Sell on ebay/CL/half.com
Interest on our accounts
Rebates
Whatever's left over from our weekly allowance (we each get $20 a week for whatever, any oney left over goes to Disney - more incentive not to spend it)

Good luck with saving!

I'm interested in the surveys you are discussing. If you join their sites, do you end up wtih unwanted junk emails etc.?

When I get home from shopping, on the bottom of the receipt is usually "You saved $xx.xx today!"

I go to banking online and transfer that amount to my savings account, but rounded up to the nearest dollar.

I also do Sunshine Rewards and Simple GPT surveys.

The general daily surveys like Toluna or OTX/AMP will not generate spam, maybe a few from the actual survey company, but 1 or 2 a week.

The smaller "get paid to" things like Eversave, etc. will generate a tontonton of spam. You do not want to use your regular daily email. Make one for those at a place like gmail, yahoo or easy.com.

I use e rewards. it is surveys for gift cards and such. I have had 50 dollar gift cards for target and borders through them.

If you like to read I use bookmooch and paperbackswap.com You have to pay the shipping on the books, but other than that it is free. They even have the new bestsellers.
