I just got a post card last night asking me to complete an on line Disney survey. I had planned a July visit, but had to cancel it. When I started to do the survey I was asked if I had a trip planned. When I stated that I had canceled it the survey was ended.

Apparently they wanted to get input from someone planning to stay for an upcoming trip. I do not know how I got selected to receive this card, but I was curious if anyone else got one and what type of information were they asking for.

I got a card in the mail yesterday. So I decided to complete the survey online, too. We are planning a vacation in July also. The survey was not long; there was even a section that I could typr in my views. Of course, I added that I was VERY disappointed in the fact that EE is no longer available....

I got a postcard to. I took the survey and they were basically asking questions like: What kind of ticket did you buy, Did you plan your vacation because you got a good deal, Would you plan it even if you didnt get a good deal, when are you going, how old are the people going with you etc.

Also got the postcard and took the survey. From the replies here, it looks like they targeted people going in July.

We got one too. We are going in July also. We are DVC members, but this trip was booked for Caribbean Beach with the code for $94.00 a night and one night on DVC points. Maybe booking with the code triggered the survey.

I also got the post card yesterday and took the survey. The survey seemd try to find out if you had reservations before and did you change them if you had a better deal or added more days or upgrade your resort by getting a better deal. I hope this tells them to put more codes out there or dont increase prices.

I filled mine out last night and as said by Jacket93 I got the impression they were very interested in knowing if I got a better deal with a code and did this better deal affect my planning of this trip or would I have continued regardless of the deal. I think they are evaluating this summer code thing . Heck when I first got the postcard I got all excited thinking finally I got a Postcard!!Then I realized I didn't really need the postcard. There have been some great summer discounts this year!:)

I am not sure who all gets them, I am starting to think everyone does. The last 5 trips I got one and the one trip was a family reunion and each room got one. So, I do not think it is that uncommon.

Us too...also commented about EE, and that we hope they keep in mind that Walt's dream was to have a park that the average family can afford to experience...hint hint...keep the resorts resonable. I also commented on the preffered room increase at the All-Stars..I feel the close bldgs are priority for anyone w/a handicap or medical condition, but after that just like any other resort.

I am going in mid to late August and I received a postcard yesterday, however I was not asked about deals or codes. I was asked how the agents I talked to were, if they were helpful or not, if I had encountered any problems, etc.

I got one too, but when it asked if I was staying on site there was no Swan/Dolphin to check. So when I checked staying off site the survey ended. I was kinda upset because I am staying at the AKL but for only one night. But then I figured that maybe I will get lucky and they will start sending me the postcards with the codes on them for discount stays.

One can always hope!! By the way, we are also scheduled to go in July!!

I also received a postcard yesterday, and completed the survey today. We have our trip planned for the 3rd week of Aug. The first question asked was if I had a trip planned to WDW for June, July, Aug of this year, so it seems as though they are targeting summer guests. The questions seemed to hone in on what most affected my decision to book this trip, and if I had not received the deal I did would I still have booked. Well, I have to admit we had no plans to visit WDW this summer, and the only reason we did was because of a code that was offered. (We normally stay far away from WDW in the crowded, hot summer). Hopefully the responses from those who visit this board, and others, will have a positive effect on summer discounts in the future!

I received the postcard survey also. I too was given the boot when I responded that my trip was canceled. I thought I would cry. I really wanted to see what the questions were about.

We got a postcard yesterday b/c we had RECENTLY stayed at a resort. They wanted to know of any problems or "magical" experiences we encountered, if we would cpme back(are we, when) and our overall satisfaction.

I received this postcard about two weeks ago, but completed the survey over the weekend. Our trip is not until August and of the three weeks we'll be in Orlando, we are only staying onsite for seven nights.

I wonder how someone gets chosen to fill out surveys or receive code postcards. The only times I've been to WDW was when someone else has used their contact information to book it, so imagine my surprise when I got an AK discount code postcard about 5 months ago. My brother booked our trip so it was all his info (he received the same card as I did). I then remembered I always stop to answer the surveys the CM's do when you first walk into the parks. Anyone else get postcards who have been stopped for in-park surveys?

I've done the surveys, but never got a discount post card. Luckily though, I have always been able to travel when there was a good code. I have been several times without one too, but the codes usually mean we can plan an extra trip or an unexpected one.

I wish they would extend the four day passes that the Florida folks get to Georgia residents. We would probrably go twice as often if that happened.
