Survey people. Anyone else getting lengthy "forgotten" questions later on?

I'm a member of a research survey group. I don't want to say their name, but they are well known. I do surveys. They pay me $3 via paypal the following day.

The last 3 times I've done surveys, I'd had emails from the survey place telling me I had to answer additional questions "they forgot" to give me.

Tonight's forgotten questions took me 15 minutes to answer.

The one before that took over 5 minutes.

The time before that was a huge "shopping trip" sort of question where brand boxes were on shelves, and I had to pick which ones I wanted. This went on for 20 times.

How could this company keep 'forgetting" these questions? I don't get paid for these additional questions.

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this happen?

I don't mind doing the original survey, although I used to get paid $5 and now only get $3. These lengthy additional questions the following day (and even over 2 weeks later) are a pain in the behind.

Anyone else who does surveys like this get these follow up lengthy questions?

I don't mind the follow up questions after they send me an item to try out. This is just for regular $3 surveys.

I do surveys for them too. I've only had a followup like that once. I'd be annoyed if it happened a lot. I don't get that many surveys anyway.

i do surveys for them too, but haven't gotten one of these so far. however, i didn't get any surveys from them for almost 4 months, then suddenly, 2 surveys in a week. now nothing again. one of the surveys did stop working about halfway through, but, i went back a couple of hours later, and was able to finish it.

I think I know what you're talking about; I do surveys with them too. I've gotten a couple of forgotten question followups, but none of them have been lengthy.

Honestly, I haven't been doing as many surveys lately because I feel like they've gotten tedious and too time-consuming.

I just got one too! I have not taken it yet, but i was thinking that is not my fault. I think I will try to do it, but if it over 5 mins I will just stop.

I do surveys for the same organization - I have for over 10 years. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've had to answer questions they forgot/didn't include and whenever it has happened the extra questions are always short. Three in a row is VERY strange - I'd contact them & tell them what it going on.

My current one was for feminine products. Right before that was for frozen meals. Then it was dog treats, and so forth.

I guess I shouldn't complain since I'm gullible enough to sit here doing surveys for only $3, but it's what I use for spending money at Disney, and it sure adds up over the course of a year. I usually do them while watching tv in the evening.

It's just odd I never got these forgotten questions before 2012.

Heck, if I get a product to try, and have to fill out a survey afterward, I get paid. So, I get paid for the initial survey and for the follow up questions. Plus most times I get to keep the product. But no compensation for "missed questions" no matter how many or how long it takes to answer them.

I guess I'll see if they stop. I was going to ask here because I'm almost sure if I asked them they'd stop sending any surveys at all.

Thanks for the replies!! :)

I think I would email them and let them know the situation.

I don't think I would complete the 'forgotten' survey to be honest.

3$ isn't even worth it!

what is the name of the research company. I may be interested in checking it out. thanks.

I do surveys for them too, but I've never gotten anything like what you are describing.:confused3 I'd email them to ask them what's going on.

Everytime I have tried to use them, it said not qualified. I have much better luck with swagbucks. I have a ton of points saved up to use for gift cards!

IMO pinecone became not worth it when they went from $5 to $3.

I was disappointed that the compensation went down, but I still do the surveys to use as spending money for WDW.

I get a bunch of emails to do surveys from My Points, but I got tired of answering a bunch of stuff only to find out I didn't qualify. Most of the My Points one I get now are for teens, and my son isn't interested in doing them.

Is Swagbucks like My Points where you try to do surveys and most times you don't qualify? I don't even know what Swagbucks is.

I sent you a message describing swagbucks with a little more detail.

I have gotten quite a few "forgotten questions" lately also, but no more than 2 questions.
To me, it's almost like free "play money" I use it on ebay for coupons I can't get around here or to buy Disney gift cards to pay off my next trip.It helps take a small ding out of the vacation budget.
