Surprised We Loved It

We found ourselves at AK yesterday. We live close so if we have a weekend with some free time we take advantage of our APs and go. AK showed a 1 for crowd levels so we took advantage. It was hot and DH wanted a cool place inside for lunch. Since his in not a favorite of African food we tried Yak & Yeti for the first time. I walked in not expecting to get a walk-in reservation and found that we were seated within 2 minutes of asking. It was 12:15. We sat upstairs and although a little pricey for our tastes for lunch we both had one of the Wok dishes and both loved them. We will go back again in the future. Yummm.

We ate In Yak & Yeti when we went last year and had the Crispy Honey Chicken. I also thought it was quite expensive for a lunch but the food was lovely!
I'm jealous that you live so close! That'd be my idea of heaven!
