I'm so excited! My best friend from NY has been in Orlando since Thursday showing her roommate WDW (she'd never been there :earseek: ) DH, DD and I were planning to meet her on Sunday at Downtown Disney b/c we couldn't afford the parks yet and we are planning a trip for April. Well my friend called and said she would treat us to a day in the Magic Kingdom, so she could experience it with our DD (she's her godmother.... or should I call her her fairy godmother now? :) ) Yay! :jumping1:

We aren't going to get there until lunch, as we can't leave Jacksonville until after 8am. So what's the first thing we should do? Eat lunch? Ride the rides? See a parade? This totally caught me off guard, so I don't even know where to begin! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Just need some ideas to get my Disney brain working :earsboy:

check the prices for tics at SoG. Their one day pass is $67 BUT it includes park hopping!!!

Great idea Suevee! But my friend and her roommate have already visited the other parks and left MK last to do with us. I have an old park hopper and I am pretty sure there is 1 or 2 days left, so my friend may only have to pay for one of us. (DD is 2yrs)

I was thinking that we would be there hopefully by 11 or 12. We could ride some rides before catching Share a Dream Come True at 3:30. I would like to see cinderellabration, though I'm not sure what time that is. Lastly, I thought we could watch Spectromagic at 8pm. I don't think we can stay for Wishes b/c we have to drive back to Jacksonville tonight (DH has to work at 6am) The rest of the day is up in the air.

Does anyone know how crowded it will be this weekend?

Go see Mickey's Philharmagic!! :flower: MY son was 21/2 last April when he saw it and still talks about it! You will have such a great time! Lucky little princess to have sucxh a nice fairy godmother.

I 2nd the idea about Mickey's Philharmagic--however, it will be packed, so get your FP for it when you first get to MK, then sort of plan around that. If your DD is a Pooh or Peter Pan fan also look at that ride too--they get long lines & I think at least one is a FP ride. Lastly, since your friend wants to experience MK with her godchild, see if you can find out when some characters will be around-the park maps have times-not sure if they are on th web before hand. I just got back from WDW w/ my nieces & nephews (age range 1-9) & my 3 yr old godson just lit up when he saw & got to shake hands or hug the characters-what magic!! I know Toon Town had several characters (including Mickey) so you might want to check there! Have a wonderful time! Deb
