Thank you for the homeschooling link! I had no idea there were programs like that. I've learned a lot of interesting things at WDW from the CM's from countries around the world. I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience.
I'll look for you for sure. My standby costume is a glow in the dark, "jack-o-lantern" face tee, and maybe a funny orange pointy witch's hat (it's very warm, if the weather's nice, I don't wear it!). DH probably will just go as himself.
My DMom was 84 when she/we went to our first MNSSHP, this was in '03. It was her first time EVER trick or treating, and the CM's made sure she had lots of loot. I laugh because she usually give us her stuff to take home so she can fly unincumbered. (We flew to different airports, she to PHL, we to DAY).
That time, she gave us everything but her candy!
What a fun surprise from your DH!! I hope you get everything packed and settled so you can relax and enjoy your drive. I had no idea Disney did the homeschool event. I'll be waiting to hear how you liked it. We don't have kids yet, but I teach and am anxious to hear what you think.
Hope you (and Bobbi!) have fun at MNSSHP!! It is a wonderful event! (Those are my best costumed smilies!)
Yep! The weather is good- hot, nice for swimming, partly sunny I'd say... but it looks like a chance of storms every day. We arrived late (after midnight) and it was clear when we arrived. The temperature on my phone says 90.
Thanks for the TR and pics--I'm really getting homesick right now! I really want to make the homeschool days one of these years. Have a wonderful time...
