You are having the most magical vacation ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love your reports and pictures. I am sure you will NEVER EVER forget this Disney trip. I don't think your husband can EVER top this surprise. :lmao: I love your Halloween party pictures. I can't wait to finally go there next Oct.

Also we really enjoyed our two stays at OKW. We stayed there for 8 nights last summer and this past Jan. we were there for 6 and it is so relaxing and laid back there. The space is sooooo nice. The 2 bedrooms are amazing. I think I could easily stay there for for a month. :rotfl: Thank you so much for taking the time out of your wonderful vacation to share it with all of us. Your children are adorable!!!!!:goodvibes All of these pictures keep reminding me to post all my gorgeous AKV Kidani pictures from our July trip. Keep your pictures coming and maybe I will finally get mine on Dis before our next trip. :rotfl2:

What a great trip! Thanks for all the pictures. It looks like you and your precious family are having a fabulous time. :goodvibes

great report! quick question - is your son's costume the one from disney store? if so, I bought it too and am worried about it being too hot for our MNSSHP this coming tuesday - did you cut the sleeves off or just roll them up? and it looks like you subbed shorts for the pants - I'm not using the mask either and just intend to paint DS's face - if he'll let me, that is as he's only 19 months!

Your photos of Boo to You are awesome! I have seen it three times and never gotten good pictures, how did you do it? And what kind of camera do you have?

Hi!
First, you are welcome and thank you for all the kind words:) And, about the parade- here's what we did (and the camera is a nikon d70- which is older and they don't make anymore, you could get a d40 which is just about as good and cheaper!)...
We got a spot right in front row in front of the castle, to the left (if you are looking at from mainstreet), just before the frontierland street (the parade comes down from there first). It was honestly the last good spot we could see and took it. We stayed there and watch villians mix/mingle, and it wasnt a good spot for that, and then my DH got us food while we waited for the parade to start. I thought it was great for pics. Then after the parade, a lot of people cleared out, and I went and snagged us a spot in front of the castle (leaning on a railing)- while the kids trick or treated (I was tired and was happy to sit and save a seat!). When the fireworks started I took a lot of pictures, and had a lot that weren't so good- I think that's the trick is to take a lot with those sort of photos. When we go friday I am thinking about sitting further back to get better photos, but we all liked being right in front, so we'll see! Hope that helps!!

Next up... todays updates!

Your DH sounds like a gem. Happy to hear that you are having a wonderful time. Your fireworks photos are amazing!

Keep the reports coming!

Thank you for "taking me there". Great TR! Your kids are adorable and your family could be the poster family for a Disney advertisement, cause you all look soooo happy! Glad the rough summer is behind you and that you are celebrating with such a great vacation!

Enjoy the rest of the trip!

This is an awesome picture!! Great Shot :thumbsup2

Sorry- I missed this a minute ago-
Yes, it's from the disney store (got it on sale in the spring at the online outlet!)- I just did shorts, and used a bandana instead- and rolled sleeves up- although it's a little tough because the foam from the skeleton. It was REALLY humid and hot that night, I think more than normal from what I was told, and I thought we were all uncomfortable in our costumes honestly. I'm planning to do something a little halloweeny but mostly regular comfy clothes for friday night! I did not realize how hard it is to be in the parks if you are hot and uncomfortable. So I would check the weather and decide, and I would go with whatever is more comfy for him so he can enjoy it. My kids were fine and never complained, but I think this time we'll be doing more moving about (since we've already seen things we wont' be as concerned about getting as good a view)... and I think they'll prefer to be more comfortable. I would also watch makeup- depends on how much he tolerates, but if it's humid and he's sweating, it might not be a good combination. Especially at that age.
Hope that helps!! And that you have cooler weather than we did!!

thanks! it really does - I keep looking at the costume, wanting to take scissors to it since it was only about $9 but I'm afraid of messing it up.

Sooo nice :goodvibes you'll all be back at the World in Jan. for VR ! Good choice going with 1 bedroom villa - they're awesome :thumbsup2

Wondering something about MNSSHP - did you notice alot of teens in costume? idk how inclined mine would be to do that especially if most kids their age weren't in costume....overall do most people at MNSSHP wear costumes ?
TIA for your opinion.

Enjoy the rest of your trip :)
