Surprise sweets delivered to room???

Can you have food products delivered to your room as a surprise? Like small cakes, chocolate covered strawberries, or cookies, or other pastries? I'd like something neat for my FI and he loves sweets so if we could this would be perfect...if you can, who do you need to contact to make this happen

I know you can have chocolate covered strawberries sent to a room of the deluxe resorts. You have to call room service of the resort and they will send them up. It has to be 24 hours in advance. I have done this 3 times for the day we have checked-in. It makes it very special and has become a tradition for us now.

WDW Florists will do gift baskets that include food items.

I would really like something like this...cause I looked at the WDW florist webpage and all the baskets on there seem pretty tacky..I want something nice.

Afraid not. You have to have in room dining aka room service and the moderates do not offer room service.

You can buy chocolate covered strawberries at Downtown Disney, but they would not be delivered to the room.

You might check with the bakery at the moderate resorts for a cake, but I don't think they will deliver it to the room, you would need to pick it up.

They will make you a custom basket with whatever you want. Wine, snacks, chocolate desserts, balloons, mickey bride/groom ears. They make very elegant baskets. You should call them and see what they can do. I've used them twice with great results. Congrats on your marriage. We Disneymooned in 1995.

I had a gift basket delievered to my DH on our honeymoon. We were at a moderate (POR). The basket was at the front desk when we returned from the park that day, and a message was on the voice mail to pick it up. I'm not sure whether they attempted to deliver it ot the room or just automatically left it at the front desk. I don't have the Disney florist's number anymore, but I remember I just called the 407-W-Disney number and got it from them. HTH!
