No worries Cheryl!! I am glad you signed up for them!! :rolleyes1 Then I can get them!!! There is still another 4 weeks left. So, you should be ok. I am working on these to finish up and the MK swap at the same time. I get bored when I just do one at a time. So, it helps keep me going to do more than one. Plus, when I get bored, I lose creativity. Works out for me!!

:confused3 still no sign?:headache:

No...sorry. I just talked to the mail lady. (Wanted to see if she was delivering today.) She said that she was and that she has a package for me. But, I also know that my cricut carts are here today according to the tracking number. So, hopefully she has TWO packages for me and one is from England!!! I'll let you know a little later after she gets here. What was the date that you mailed it again?

Kind of off topic here...(not totally though) I spent 2 hours last night sorting through 2 big boxes of scraps and another two hours this morning!! I am almost through it all. I put them according to color in page protectors and 3 ring binders. Boy, do I have a lot!! I just burried them and never went back!! I have been using scraps for the surprise swap, but just digging through the boxes. Now, it will be easy to just go to the proper binder. The only thing I really have left is the printed paper. I think I will sort that according to season / theme and what doesn't fall into those things...I don't know? But, I think I will have enough to get through this swap, most of the MK swap and all of the letter swaps (Traci's on Friday and mine at the end of the month)! So, I like not having to spend money and still getting goodies!! Anyway, I am hoping to have it done by the end of the week. Then, I will go to the binders for paper before whole sheets!! I have to remember this also for my own books too!!!

good idea....I just toss all my scrap onto one of my trays, always look through it before I pick a whole piece of paper....shoudl go through it and organize a bit I guess

I have all my scraps organized by color--patterned ones in with solids. I have a 12x12 file folder for each color and specialty ones like "metallics" and "christmas". I really use them alot because it's handy to find what I'm looking for. Especially the 2 inch letter swaps---those are made with all scraps!

I have 4 - 2" binders filled. I have to get two more for my patterned papers then, I will b all done with that organization. Part of my overall organization problem is that my scrap stuff is in my bedroom. I scrap in the kitchen. DH works nights and sleeps during the day and then takes a nap at night from 8
:00 until 11:00. So, I either need to get what I need while he's up so I can scrap by myself when all are in bed or have things in the kitchen. So, I accumulate quite the collection of clutte over time in the kitchen. I keep things in bags /boxes. But, things were getting out of hand. Plus, the stuff in the room...that's a whole other unorganized story!!! Anyway, when I get snowed (or in this case ICED) in, I get the organizig bug!! So, today I cleaned out the bottom of our hutch and put my binders an some tools and spare adheasives in there. Then, I got rid of some junk in the closet in the kitchen (cleaned off a whole 6 foot shelf!!) I put some essentials in bins and put all of my cricut carts and the bins on the shelf. I also put all of the supplies I need for my current projects (swaps and 2010 Disney trip) on the shelf. So, I am organized for anything immediate. DH and I are shopping around for a new organization system for our room. That will be a project coming up soon. We are also putting wood floor in our room and re-painting. So, it's bigger than just the scrappy stuff. But, I am so proud of myself for getting somewhat organized and making progress in that department!! I feel like I will be able to keep things neat, know what I have and where it is and use it easily and put it away!! AWESOME!

I thought I was the only one who kept her scrap stuff in her bedroom. I have been telling DH for years that I need a scrap room because no one else could be keeping all this stuff in their bedroom, he is almost ready to give in. DD said I can have DS's room when he goes to college in August:laughing: she thinks he's leaving for good! Wishful thinking in a small part of her brain, he will be back more often than she thinks!!!

Ha!!! I keep trying to come up with a way for one of the kids to move out of their room now!! LOL If I could only have one of their rooms to scrap in...:cloud9:

We have 4 bedrooms and 3 kids...so no place to put me or my scrappy stuff. :sad2: It's alright...one day. I told DH I have dibs on the first room that comes available! LOL I think he is more than willing just so he doesn't have to look at the stuff in the bedroom anymore!!! I think I actually have a good plan a have found a really nice and spacious organization system. So, next month or so I can finish that all up. Th only thing I am still a bit stumped on is how to really organize my swap stuff so I know what I have and can access it and USE IT!!!!

I use what is supposed to be a formal dining room. We used it first for the playroom when the kids were smaller and I needed them close to me. They now have an upstairs room to keep their larger toys in.

We don't have need for a dining room since we have a large kitchen/great room that we use to eat in.

My stuff used to be in our bedroom, but I outgrew it quickly. That and it was a mess all the time. This way the mess can be ignored easier. :teeth:

Yeah...I have taken over the bedroom!! And...they say that is not good. But, what is a girl to do??!! LOL I think once I get things all organized officially and make things a little prettier, it will be all ok with DH. He was already happy with the progress I made today. And, I sorted the rest of my scraps tonight. It was all the patterned paper...so I'm done. They are all in the page protectors...I just need two more binders to put those protectors in. That will give me 6 binders of scraps!! LOL But, it definitely feels good to be organized! Tomorrow I am getting up early and getting my cleaning done hopefully by 9 or 10 and then swapping and scrapping. I have a bunch of stuff cut and will try to cut more until the power goes out! I hope it just stays on, but they are calling for widespread outages and for extended periods. I figure the stuff that is cut can be assembled then!! :thumbsup2 At least I won't be bored!

I am also a scrapper in the bedroom! I have a sewing table that I got from walmart that opens up a perfect size for me and has lots of storage. And when I'm finished scrapping for the night, I close it up and it just looks like a cabinet.

It has gotten harder though....I now have a spot in my closet devoted to scrap stuff and under our bed! DH and I have been looking to buy a house for some time and having a scrap space is now on the "need" list. ha.

And just have to say, I LOVE your idea of binders for scraps. I use folders and the papers fall out so often....I may have to look into the next binder sale at Staples! Thanks for sharing your organizing ideas!

I'm gonna post my scrap space in the scrapbooking section...I was lurking when everyone was posting their's and they were so inspiring...and I figure maybe I can give someone an idea or two!

Yeah...I just wish I had a dedicated space where I could leave my work out if I don't finish it. But, it has to be cleaned up each time I am done because the family "has to eat". (Whiners!!!) :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao:

My kids offer to eat in front of the TV so I don't have to clean up....ummm nope don't think so, we eat as a family. It would be really nice to have a place for all my papers and things. I have to pack it all up and then bring it all out. It makes it hard to work on things if I don't have more than an hour. And when I am working on things I have paper spread out on my bed and my and all over the living room. DH comes home and he has no place to sit!!! He has not figured out it is part of my plan to win him over into finishing our basement.:rolleyes1 Hopefully this summer.

Ahhhh....good plan!!!

Our table seats 6+ with the extra leaf in so as there's only 4 of us my family is quite used to eating looking at a pile of scrap stuff;)

Any news on my package?:confused3

This is getting silly! Is the postie hand-delivering all the way?:confused3
