Surprise... It's Someday!! A Dec 2010 PTR!!

Welcome Back! So glad you had a great time, can't wait for your TR!
Also, "Once in a lifetime Trip" kinda goes out the window once you get to Disney. My DH was the one who brought the next trip up while we were still at Disney as well. It took us 2 years, but in 35 days, we're going back.

Sounds like you had a blast - we have had two "once" in a lifetime trips and I am planning on returning in 2013 for another "once in a lifetime trip. :rotfl::rotfl: The two times that I have taken my sons , we start to talk about the next trip before the trip was halfway over.

Welcome Home! I'm so glad you all had such an amazing time! I think getting to look forward to any trip is exciting, no longer how far away it is! can't wait to read all about it in your TR

welcome home and so glad it went well and you were able to add a night! and so happy you are going back. we've had trips planned for at least 2 years out, so you aren't alone in planning so far in advance- it just means more time to save up, right? ;):santa:

oh and i think we sat right next to you at Le Cellier on 12/8 and didn't even know it was you until you left! You sat near the fireplace by the door to the kitchen?

we were at hte table right next to you- a 6 top- i had my MIL, niece, hubby and Will with me. Your hubby was sitting facing the kitchen door, so I couldn't see him or Gavin. So it didn't click it was you, because i didn't see two kids. But then when you guys left, i heard you call for Gavin, and you were out the door before i could say hi- i was like, hey, i know her!!!! it was too late. so funny though! Hope you had a great time and great meal!

Welcome back. So glad to hear you had a great trip, and are planning another one. It is addicting!!!! And donating plasma to go to Disney isn't that bad!!! That's how we are going, my hubby and I have been doing it for a year now and have saved up about 3000.00 by doing that. It works, and why not?

Have a wonderful Christmas, Can't wait to see you trip report.

Welcome back!! I'm glad you decided to plan another trip, even if it is a long way off, that will just make it a whole new experience for you!! I can't wait to hear all the details!

Hello all! I am so sorry I have been neglecting this PTR since I got back. Christmas is such a hectic time and then to only really have 10 days to gt ready for it has made it crazy. I think I am getting close to being done. Tomorrow night is the Christmas play that the kids are in at church and I am so excited for that and then of course we all know what happens the next morning. Soon after Christmas I want to get to my TR.

I promise too, I will get to the shout outs that have been left... just as soon as I can! :rotfl:

Merry Christmas!!!!!

I just read your review of when you had just returned and I LOVE that Jon broke his own rule! :lmao: And I'm soooooooo happy to hear that it was a wonderful trip and is NOT a trip of a lifetime! Three years goes by so quickly, and I see every reason you should be excited already! :goodvibes

I can't wait to read your TR, how very, very awesome that you over budgeted!!!! Take your time though, we'll be here - we all know how busy this season is!

Hello again!

I know I promised that soon after Christmas I would get to the TR. Things here have hit a rough spot. We have all gotten nasty colds, and of course with Gavin's health issues he has gotten it the worst. He is having a very rough time of things. I know I tend to forget all of his health issues when times are good, such as after his surgery in Nov and then the trip, but when he gets sick it really gets him down. His immune system has such a tough time fighting things off. We are regulars at the drs and are praying this doesn't turn into Pneumonia for him. I am just thankful that nothing hit till Christmas evening. We all got to enjoy a happy, fairly healthy Christmas. The drs are hoping that the steroids and meds they put Gavin on will help beat this thing quickly. They are actually encouraging me to take him out in the cool air to breath. It seems to be one of the only times that he isn't having a hard time breathing. Only problem is PA is freezing this time of year!

Also, all my Facebook friends, I am sorry I haven't gotten back to some of the messages you have left there. You can always tell when Gavin (or Brenda) is sick because I don't post a million messages a day. I don't tend to have the time to get on. I will get to those messages as soon as I can.

All of this nasty cold stuff going on does kind of remind me that maybe I should not be thinking about a trip 3 years from now. I have no idea what the future holds for us. I am sure its just everyone being sick that is talking but for the last two months I have forgotten that Gavin has a lot of health issues.

So, please bear with me. I don't want to lose all my loyal followers. You have all been with me for so long. I will get to the TR as soon as I can. Also, if you are the praying type. If you are the praying type, Please keep Gavin, and all of us, in your prayers.

I have the nasty cold as well. I am so sorry to hear your family has it. Bill and I will be praying for Gavin and your entire family to get over it quickly. You are in our thoughts .

Take your time Tammy, we will be here when you are ready

I will keep Gavin and the rest of you in my prayers:grouphug:

Just found your PTR and can't wait for the TR. I went back to find out more about your little Gavin and I will be praying for him.

I'm glad you guys had a wonderful Christmas. I have a niece who was born prematurely(26 weeks) and everytime she gets a little cold, it turns into pnemonia. We are thankful, like you when things are good, it almost make the sick times vanish.
I will keep your whole family in my prayers, :hug:and keep that next trip in mind. It may not happen but if it does, it will be as magical as this first one!:wizard:

Thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers. We are all doing some what better. We even got out today and went for groceries. Gavin has been improving too. The steriods and meds he was put on has really kicked in and seem to be helping a lot. I am actually hoping that we can go out and see the ice sculptures tomorrow. We will play it by ear. The cool air is actually easier for Gavin to breath so it would most likely help him to go out. Brenda is almost completely over everything. I am feeling better but still pretty worn out, and Gavin is improving a great bit. Jon... well, Jon is Jon. He pushed through everything because he has had to work. He wouldn't let himself take a sick day, although I think he could have used a few.

Hope everyone else who replied that this nasty cold has struck their house is feeling better. It just stinks to be sick this time of year.... or anytime for that matter! :rotfl:

I am hoping to get the Photopass CD ordered in the next few days. I have been playing around with the pictures some. Some of those pictures are simply awesome. So glad Jon pre-purchased it for me as a Christmas gift.

The other thing I have to share with you all...
Remember how excited Brenda was for a Phineas and Ferb Birthday party. Well, her birthday is Jan 17th so I have had to start thinking about the whole birthday thing. When we were talking, she has decided she doesn't want a P&F birthday now. She was a Princess party! Not that it isn't a great party theme but I was really getting into the whole P&F thing! :scared1: So, today I ordered the invitations from Walmart and she is no longer allowed to change her mind. It is Princess all the way! When I picked the invites up earlier she tells me that the reason she wants a Princess party is because she wants to wear one of the princess gowns that she didn't get to wear at Disney World! :rotfl2: So, now I am back to the drawing board. The rule at Preschool is, if you invite 1 child you have to invite them all. Not too bad as its only 15 children in her class, but that means I have to come up with a plan for the boys. I was thinking something along the knight in shining armor or prince thing. If anyone has any ideas please, please, pretty please pass those along!
