I am so excited. I had planted seeds with my mom that the Segway tour would make a nice Cmas gift for my sister, and the Gardens of the world tour would be great for hubby. She called and suggested I add them to our Nov trip and that she would pay for them. (Yeehaw!!) and asked what I would want to do. Told her I was hoping we could all do the Family Magic tour and she's paying my part of that, so we all win on this one. Guess I won't get the neon colored panties or clothes that don't fit from her for Christmas this year...just something we truly will enjoy and not be burdened with later!
Ok, so here's the surprise part of my question. I'm thinking of printing out descriptions of the special things I have planned each day for our trip and each morning we can get together at a certain time and "open the envelope". Last trip was a total surprise for my kids, but I can't do that again, but I do have lots of surprise elements planned this trip...or not necessarily BIG surprises, but just letting them in on what our plans are to be. What do you think? Has anyone done something similar and how did it work?
