My daughter will be graduating from HS June 1st. We have a big family trip planned for August (hoping to stay at BCV but won't know for sure until later in Jan). Also planning a 5 day in May'09 at AKV.
Right now I am very seriously thinking about booking a 2-4 night stay right after she graduates (June 4-8), just for the 2 girls, but it depends on what I can find for airfare deals. SO the big question: Where would YOU stay? Not a definate plan, but it is in the works in my head...
August will be our first DVC vacation, and the first trip to WDW for my DH and 2 DS. Right now I have 70 points I could use.

Are you trying to book the two trips with the 70 points?

Not trying to book 2 trips with the points. I have 70 points I CAN use to go in June, but I don't have to use them until May of 09. If I use the points in June I will have to borrow points for the May trip, but that's okay.

Ohhhh ok. :)

Well, it is approximately 5 months till the early June dates you are looking for. I believe you will find availability (assuming you are seeking a studio) as long as you are flexible with the resort you are choosing. For example, I would say OKW and SSR will probably have availability. But, the standard and Boardwalk view rooms at BWV are probably sold out by now.

If I were you, I would reserve the DVC room before purchasing air fares. You just never know....

Good luck!

For just you and your graduating daughter, I would go with BWV...so nice to absorb the nightlife, etc. And with just 2 adults, park-hopping is easy, so you can really do a lot of that with the proximity to Epcot and MGM. You will likely get a preferred view at this date.
