Surprise for my family w/pics!!!!

One day about 4 months ago I was putting the finishing touches on a shadow box that I was making to display my Disney Pins. I thought to myself that I really needed MORE pins and that a trip to Disney World was in order.

From that moment on the planning began. I searched and searched and finally got a great deal with of course free dining!

Then I really kicked it up a notch and began to research all events and such on this board and many, many websites. I decided to surprise my family with tickets to MNSSHP! I was going to wait until we got to Pop Century to give them the surprise, but when the pictures and maps for the party to came out I decided that I just could not wait.

I put together a package of goodies: personalized pin, Mr. Potato Head (Spud Trooper), a full size itinerary and also pocket sized itinerary for each day (both are laminated--I bought a laminator for the trip), pirate costumes for the party and of course the tickets which I affixed to a copy of the map for the party that I printed off of this site.

I made a big speech about being so happy to go with some of my favorite people: my brother, my aunt (more like a sister), and my cousin. I got teary eyed and then gave them the presents. They were all so happy and it really got everyone into the spirit.

Your pictures rock! That is such a cute setup. I actually have not seen a laminator on someones Disney necessities list!
If I could do something half this nice it would be a disney miracle.

By the way, where did you get the potato head spud trooper. I would love to give that to my DH for christmas. I know you can get them at DD but I would like to order one before then.

I am SUCH a geek with the laminator!! LOL

I got the Spud Trooper at KayBee toy store at my local mall. I got the other two recipients Darth Tater and my 9 yr. old cousin wanted the Spud Trooper when he saw it.

That is so awesome!!! I've been picking up stuff to surprise my DD with for our trip in December for MVMCP. She had no idea about the trip all together and will not find out until I pick her up from school early to go to the airport. Thank you for sharing!!!

I would have loved to be able to do that to my DS4. Our flight leaves at 10 am on 10/25. Wednesdays are his early days at Before Care at his school (I have to be at work by 8; school starts at 9) , so I will be telling him that morning . He's also getting a Disney Enchanted Call from The Mouse at 7:30 am as well.
