Surprise dinner

My Dad is taking is to Disney. He has the My Disney Experience account set up. I made a surprise dining reservation and didn't link it. Is that ok or will it mess things up?

I would think it depends on if you are paying out of pocket or have a dining plan.

It doesn't matter if you made the reservation or if you are paying OOP or with a dining plan. Anyone can make a WDW ADR. Making a surprise reservation won't mess up any other part of your trip.
