I just had to post because i am so excited ..... Hubby jsut told me that we are going on Disney cruise during thanksgiving holidays!!!!! I cant wait to tell kids...they have been wanting to go but had no idea he was working on it for us.

We went on our first cruise ever a couple of years ago and Disney is the only way to go. We strolled to the movie theatre in our PJ's one night to see Chicago. Ice cream on the ledo deck, huge rooms, you'll love it. Only thing spoiled us is to go on another cruise line, its Disney or nothing. Foods fantastic, alittle tip, take a huge stack on one dollar bills for tipping, alot easier then big money.

We went to St Marteen and wasn't impressed with the islands, I felt it was better to just stay on the ship, same with St Thomas, not much to see or do and you're always reaching in your pocket for cash, on the ship everything is free.

Castaway Cay is the best part, picnic barbeque, steak sandwiches, lobster, ice cream, if God made anything better, he kept it for himself.

Go, enjoy, make memories, it doesn't get any better than a Disney Cruise.

Thanks.... I plan on having the time of my life. I told the kids after school and theywere excited. Espically my DD12 who didnt even want to go to disney this summer with us.......... go figure

I'm brand new to these boards but I had to chime in here.. cruising is my favorite type of vacation. We've been on five, and brought the kids on two of them. We went the week after Thanksgiving last year, it's a great time to go. I haven't been on a Disney cruise, though, so can't help you on that end.

I did want to say that there is a lot to see and do in the islands! St. Thomas is my favorite. If you want to take a tour of the island check out sunnyliston.com. He does tours for $25/person (babies are free) I found him before our cruise last year from some recommendations online at another message board website and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. He will take you shopping, tell you some history of the island and bring you to the beach. It's a lot of fun, too, my kids (ages 14, 11, 9 and 11 months) loved it!

PM me if you'd like, I can give you lots of links to cruising websites, etc. pirate:

Cruise are the best. I went on the wonder in july 2002 for 8th grade graduation present and then april 23, 2005 for spring break on the magic and august 19th, 2006 for a graduation present

If you haven't already, I hope you will join us over on the cruise boards. There are a number of very experienced cruisers over there who love to share their tips and suggestions to make your trip even more magical!! Have a fabulous time!
