SURPRISE! Can we do it again? A November 2012 PTR!! SURPRISE !!11/1

That is basically my dream birthday hahah. Lucky you!!!

Okay, I've been to MVMCP twice, and as far as I know, the snow is just random! I know it was coming down right after the second parade the first time I went... which I know is not helpful!

I wish I could help, but neither of my parties have been huge successes hahah. If you want to meet the princesses with their princes, go EARLY! AND MAKE SURE YOU GET COOKIES AND HOT CHOCOLATE. Seriously, best cookies ever. :rotfl:

Sounds like an awesome birthday! It snows off and on all night. I really wanted to spend my birthday in the MK next year, but with my middle kid graduating 2 weeks later, I guess that's off. I'm choosing just not to have a birthday instead. Which may be better......

I've never had anything done for my birthday, even as a kid, so I think this is a perfect way to enjoy the day, but the getting older part I could do without!
You could come a celebrate with me! I'd be fun!:thumbsup2

I'm excited to see the snow! I'm fixated on winter weather right now.....

That sounds like a perfect birthday!

I'm glad that Kadence is doing the Tea Party again! It looks like a lot of fun.

I know, what a way to do it!:lmao: The Tea she'll be doing isn't the same as last years. This one is with Alice and the Mad Hatter. and $200 cheaper!:lmao:

I can't wait!!!! This will be a fun day!

Me too! I'm looking forward to this, really the whole trip more everyday!

I know, this has really turned into my dream trip. :cloud9: I just want to see and experience it all.

I've heard the cookies are good! I am hoping to get Kadence in to see the princesses, I gotta get my game plan down!

I'm a little fixated on the "winter" part of our trip right now too. I have a couple CDs of Disney Christmas music I've been playing in the car. In my defense though........ today is going to be our 16th day over 100 this summer..... :faint:

Heck, if we could get a little Fall weather I'd be thankful right now! We hit another 100 Monday, broke a record....again. WI hasn't had a summer like this ever! And you being more south, it's just awful-er. (new word!)

Our local news had a Christmas in July theme today, shots of the tree farms, Carols you can listen to. Our Local Hobby Lobby put out all the Christmas Decor, says crafters need it to work on their projects.:rotfl:

I'd be good with a nice 70 degree day.

:dance3:

Love the double digit dance!!! Claire asked if we could pack the other day.

Love the double digit dance!!! Claire asked if we could pack the other day.

I am thinking about stuffing some of her outfits in a suitcase. I wish I could try them on her, but I can't have her see them. Maybe a blind fold?:rotfl:

WOO HOO! on the double digit dance! :dance3: Seems like just yesterday it was 100! :rotfl:

OK, seems like just yesterday it was over 300!

Do you know someone her size

No, not that wouldn't tell her!:lmao: I may put on her sleep mask and have her try on one of the shirts, just so I know how it looks!

love it! I wanna pack as well :lmao:

:lmao: Soon!

:rotfl2: Some days it seems like it's been forever, and sometimes I feel like I've got to get somethings done because it's creeping fast!
I've only got a few weeks before my summer break is over, and then I think time will fly.

I'm here and subscribing! :)

You are going LOVE MVMCP! Snow happens frequently so don't worry you won't miss it. Promise! It really is something else when you put it with all the lights and the holiday cheer. Make sure you see the Fair Godmother light the castle. It's simply breathtaking! My husband even recorded it on his phone.

As far as food goes, yes to eating early! I'm not sure if it is like this during MNSSHP but some of the Quick Serve places close early for MVMCP. ( I feel like I read somewhere that Halloween is the same...we are going in a few weeks so I'll know for sure then. Ha.) Anyways, all that to say when we did MVMCP we didn't realize this and we ended up having to back track around the park to find a place that was serving and then it was utter chaos because everyone was in the same boat! (Cosmic Rays was where we ended up.) So, live and learn. This year we will not be making that mistake again...I have a much better grasp on things than I did in 2010. We actually have early, early dinner reservations for LTT for both Halloween and the Christmas Party. So, whether you end up at BOG early or do Quick Serve just make sure you go early/have your plans in place so that you can eat and go! Also, we got hungry later in the event and our snack options were again limited. Hope that helps. Can't wait to read more!

Oh, and love that you are spending you're 39 birthday in MK! My birthday is in October and we'll miss it by a few days this year but my husband told me it would be silly to spend my 29th birthday at MK this year when I've already requested to spend my 30th there next year! Ha. ;)

It looks like you are at your half way point

Not long now!!:cool1:

We really enoyed MNSSHP , and I can't wait for MVMCP. Funny that someone from WI is excited for snow, but Disney snow is gonna be amazing! We are a video recording (of everything...) family, so I will be sure to catch it!

Yes, it's the same. We wanted to eat at Columbia Habour House last year, but it was closed already. I think we'll most likely catch Pecos Bill for one, maybe CHH if we get in early. Now we know BOG isn't an option, I can make a better plan.

I'm happy about that! Next year it will be my 40th and Kadence's 10th so it will be doubly awesome!:)

Well, it’s about time I showed back up here! Doesn’t life know that it needs to leave some time for Disney planning and the sharing of such planning?! :confused3

There is one sad thing to note, the new Fantasy Land expansion opening has been announced for December 6th, and previews starting Nov 19th. That leaves us out, maybe….
I’ve heard rumors of possible soft openings happening as early as late Oct/early Nov! Which kinda makes sense, they are going to want to see how the crowds flow, and the rides perform, and if any issues are found, get them fixed before the Grand Opening.
Other new attractions have had soft openings up to 2 months prior, so cross your fingers for me and all the other November travelers! My biggest wish; a meal at Be Our Guest, or riding the Little Mermaid ride. We’ll see!:hourglass

I left off on Nov 9th, it was my B-day, throw in a Tea party for Kadence and them to top it all off, MVMCP!

So on to the 10th of November!

Since we will have partied ourselves silly the night before, this is a sleep-in day. Well only until 8:30ish. :lmao:
This will be our 2nd DHS day, but we wanted to have a nice late breakfast/early lunch. I didn’t want to eat at Hollywood & Vine, so I started looking into places to eat in the DHS area hotels.
I decided on a 10:30am ADR at Cape May breakfast buffet in the Beach Club resort. The menu looks yummy and Kadence will be happy to meet Minnie and friends in their beach attire! I’m also excited to see the resorts in that area.

I’ve found out there are 2 ways to get there after getting dripped off at DHS, by boat or a 20 minute walk from DHS. I’m thinking boat…..

I did think about just getting a quick cab ride over, but John wants to see if he can sprint it into DHS and grab some Fast Passes for Toy Story Mania before we eat. It’s EMH at DHS that day, so there is a good chance they may be gone by the time we get there later.

Once we’re finally in DHS I really don’t have too much of a plan, our must do is TSM, FP willing. I’d like to catch Beauty and The Beast, and John wants to see Lights, Motors, Action! and The Great Movie Ride. I’m sure we’ll do Mermaid and find a bunch of characters for Kadence.

At 4:30, we have an ADR at 50’s Prime Time. I hope we’re hungry by then! I will tell you right now that this adr will make Kadence an unhappy camper. She does not like this place, she’s afraid they will pick on her if she puts her elbows on the table! John really wanted this so, I guess she’ll have to deal.

After dinner, my plan is to head over to catch them turn on the Osbourne Lights! This will be the 2nd night that they are on, and our only chance to see them, but it shouldn’t be too bad, and if it is, we’ll wait for Fantasmic to start and the crowds should thin quite a bit.

After that, it will depend on how we feel. Tired; go back to the room. Not tired; check out some rides. I bet with F! and the lights both going the wait times for TSM may be really low!

I don’t know about you, but when I write my plans here, I can see me doing these things and I get so excited! I am really looking forward to this trip, and I think we will really need this.
Our schedules are starting to get quite crazy and with Kadence now involved in Cheer, her practice is 4 days a week, 5:30 to 8pm. She started last week and this will go until Oct 13th. John is booked solid with weekend Dj jobs between now and then, plus his regular job. School is starting soon, so that means I’m back to work now.

I think I need more Disney music on my ipod to listen to at work….

That is one long practice are they getting ready to compete or something I am all for keeping fit however this is going to far

I was looking at your ticker and it looks like you are officially at the 123 for next year 1 year 2 months and 3 days sry I am a day off tomorrow you can say that.

They are learning the cheers and the dances for the games they are performing at. The competition is in Oct, but they do have 4 different routines to learn and she loves it.

LOL, nice ticker count!

Sounds like a good day. I can't wait to see the lights for myself too. I think I have MK EMH for the evening, but if it works, DHS for the morning.

We may be dragging, but it's worth it. I'm so excited for the lights! Right now the crowd calendars are saying the best park is DHS for that day so it should be all good.

I'm thinking with the marathon and the last 2 days of F&W, MK & Epcot will be the busy ones.

You'll be fine with late EMH at MK. You are night owls and most people really don't stay too late.

I would take the boat first thing in the morning. It's a nice walk, but maybe only if there aren't children with? :rotfl:

I've heard great things about Cape May breakfast. We love dinner there, and I was thisclose to booking it for the last trip. Can't wait to hear what you think!

Yay for the Osbourne Lights! I'm so jealous!

Sorry about the Fantasyland opening. Hopefully you will be able to do and see some of it for a soft open.:goodvibes
