Surprise bday and Destin, FL

I need some help...and please keep it budget minded since I am paying for at least 14 people...maybe more...

My DD15 is heading down to Destin with her friend's family and it happens to fall the week of her 16th bday. So I had the great idea to have extended family head down there, as will we, and surprise her. The family she is traveling with will bring her to a restaurant and she will see us all there...our family, grandparents, etc.

Now that I have everyone onboard, I need a venue. Anyone familiar with the area that can tell me a restaurant or dinner cruise or something that would be fun? We are staying at the Hilton Sandestin if that helps, and the family she is traveling with will be in a beach rental somewhere in Destin.

I am thinking Mexican is cheap but am open to any ideas. TIA!

What is your DD's favorite food? For Mexican, Pepito's is our favorite, there is also Cantina Laredo.

Margaritaville has a nice, large, open floor plan with great views of the harbor.

It is late May. Mellow mushroom isn't a bad idea. We have those here and she likes them. I may check with the hotel too and see if they can put something together for $20 a head or so.

That hotel is near Harborwalk - lots of restaurants there.... An Acme Oyster House, which is as good as New Orleans
