I think it's neat b/c my ds3 is a leap day baby and this will be his "1st" bday. We were considering a mommy/son trip so yay for this!

I have to say I was interested in seeing what the promotion was. I didn't expect to find anything that would make me want to rebook my vacation as they already have my money however I have to say this is disappointing and very sub-disney.

They're clearly targeting a specific timeframe and trying to bolster attendance during that timeframe. I just don't see AT ALL how the announcement is any better or bigger than the promotion I took advantage of with far less fanfare.

Disappointing Disney.... Disappointing.

I'm bummed, but not surprised. I wish they could give more advanced notice. There isn't enough time for me to get off work and plan a trip for the end of February.

I dont really understand why you are all complaining. It is a great opportunity for the people that are able to enjoy this. For those of us that are unable to, it is "unfortunate" but you are all acting like they gave you something and took it away.

I bet you would have complained if they hadn't made any announcement.

For the people able to take advantage. That's great. I just do not understand the fanfare surrounding it. Maybe I don't get "how great" a deal it is just yet but it just seems to be more put into it than it's worth.

Well, I have to admit I had higher expectations.... Thought maybe it would just be 24 hours for 2/29, but never in a million years thought that they would also offer an extra day promo for a short window like that. Who is going rush to pull their kids out of school with a month's notice? Would love to know what they are thinking.... There's a reason for everything.

Sorry, but really it isn't a great opportunity. The majority of those dates were eligible for the free dining promo, which is a better value for the majority of people compared with B3G1 free. And seeing as how the majority of guests go for at least 5 days, even a 20% off code at a value (which one would expect during this time frame, since it's a slower time) is the same. And mods and deluxes are much better off with a discount code. So they're basically hyping up a crappy promo to see how many people take advantage of it. If enough people don't take advantage of it, better discounts will certainly follow for the same time frame.

I firmly believe this will be a failure, just like the pick a "hidden" hotel promo garbage earlier this year where you paid x amount and then could get any value or possible mod that they put you in. People saw right thought that, it didn't get the response they wanted and better discounts came out soon after. And that crappy promo hasn't been back since.

Looking at the details of the offer - as expected, it has to be a non-discounted 3 nights or more package - no free dining, etc. I don't see anything that says it excludes cost of the dining plan though. It also strangely says that the tickets are "one park per day" - not sure that matters.

So at BEST, it's 25% off. Often you can get that through other means.

If you book a longer trip, then the percentage savings goes DOWN - meaning this is a HORRIBLE deal. Almost any other discount would be better.

Free 5 day trips for 240 people next year is lame? Most free trip prizes are for 4 people total.

24 hours leap day is cute.
stay at least 3 days get 1 free is a standard promo they have run before.

but 60 free trips for up to 240 people?
