We are planning on taking the surfing lessons at TL on our next trip. My question to anyone that might now is:

When the lesson is over will they let us stay in the park?

We are planning on doing this and of course will use one of our plusses but hate to leave and get in line with the rest of the people. It sure would be nice to grab a good chair by the pool and stay in.
Has anybody been able to do this?
And does anyone have any good pics of TL, maps, recommendations fo rgood spot to grab chairs?

My son took the surfing lesson this past April, he really loved it!
I could be wrong, but if you want to remain at TL you have to use your park hopper as I don't believe admission is included with the lesson. However after spending that much $$ to surf, admission SHOULD be included!

I did this last month--no, they won't let you stay in the park. You have to leave as a group, which I found a little disconcerting--they parade you out, dripping wet with stringy hair, in front of approximately a million people lined up at the rope waiting to leap into the park.

I wasn't planning on staying anyway--frankly, I was exhausted after the lesson. Never too tired for the parks, though!

You would think that if you were planning on staying in the park and you had passes they would scan them and let you stay in. Sure would make it nice in getting a good shaddy chair by the surf pool.
