Surfing help at Aulani

My family of 4 wants to try surfing in August...I know throughout the forum there's probably a bunch of recommendations for surf schools but figured I'd ask separately for recommendations.
One glitch....I have a disc rupture in my back so not sure surfing is what I should be trying so I want to try paddleboard. Do any schools offer semi-private (just the 4 of us) lessons that combine surfing and paddleboarding?

Try contacting blue rush surf school. They are located in Haleiwa ( north shore) They will accommodate private lessons and are wonderful to learn with. We have been back several times to surf with Matthew. I think they offer paddle boarding, but can't remember. If you are staying at Aulani, they offer paddle boarding there but, no surfing.
