I have not heard an Orlando weather update for such a long time.......

Is it surface of the sun hot yet?

I live North of Orlando and it is definately heating up quickly. Not quite surface of the sun yet but it will be very soon I suspect.

Figures.... just in time for our Memorial Day week visit....lol.....

Yes, it's definitely on its way. We're going to DHS on Saturday and I just saw them predict 93 as the high. Better bring my sunblock and misty mate!

I can't stand the summers down here!

We're here this week. It is warm, but I'm in jeans and still comfy. Mid to high 80's all week. Tomorrow it is supposed to get to 90.

I just saw on accuweather that the real feel temp for Sat is 98. :faint:

It would be funny if CorEy wrote a script that randomly started threads in the forum (maybe once a week or so) with Pete's House Weather Updates.

HA! That means its time for all of us in cooler climates to chime in. Once we get through the tornado watches tonight, it should be in the 70's this weekend :-)

Thanks all for the updates.

I made it through the winter listening to Pete's weather updates turning green with envy......now....not so much.....:rolleyes1

To all that are visiting WDW soon....keep cool and have a great trip.

:)

Ok, everybody.

Surface of the sun hot: this is defined as being in the Animal Kingdom in August when the air temp is 102 degrees and the heat index is 128 degrees. We basically sat in the Dinoland area at an outside table with wet towels on the backs of our necks and sweated. We drank so much water that day. I do not believe that I have ever felt that hot in my life, and I was a beach lifeguard for many years. :lmao:

That, my friends, is surface of the sun hot! :scared1:

PS: DO NOT GO TO Disney in August!!! :rotfl:

Well, he is my northern weather report...

Will be in Disney starting sunday, and it is forcasted to be areund 40 degrees warmer (hotter?) in Disney than in norhtern Ohio. :thumbsup2

Am I the only one who hopes the weather at home is yucky when I am not there... :rolleyes1
