Yeah... we're not going to tell her until the day of...

The Cast:

Snow (me):artist: 22 and still in college... getting that elusive double major and a complete disney addict. My Dbf and I take a trip every Jan... mainly because I beg for the trip to be my combo birthday/christmas/anniversary present. I'm the eldest in the family (of four girls) and totally wanted to make my little sister's birthday the BEST!:goodvibes:bday:

Ry (the Dbf) :car:23 and still letting me go to disney as much as I want. He's totally adorable and I love going there with him. Totally treats me like a princess and loves touring the parks in a group of 2. He's a little skeptical about touring with such a large group, but I'm sure he'll be fine.

Mom (the DM) :laundy:(ageless!) she only wanted to go so that there was one more person watching my little sister. I had to talk her into the trip over about 3 weeks and it took me crying and telling her that my little sister was growing up so fast.

Zee (the Dsis) pirate: 21 and loving it! She has JRA (which is a form of arthritis) and because of her medication, can only have about 3 drinks a week... that means that drinking around the world for her is out of the question... but we figured she could drink 3 beers the night of arrival, and 3 the night we leave! Yay!

PJ (Dbf2):lovestruc 23 and totally in love with Zee. He went to Disney when he was 5 with his family, stood in line for Space Mountain, and backed out of it at the last second. Had to break it to him that SM was still down for refurbishment when we go...

Okay... here is the deal.

You see, after my Dbf and I took the BEST trip ever in Jan of 2009, I wanted to go back... he kept telling me that we couldn't afford it, but when I saw the free dining offer and started to play around with resort quotes, I realized that a trip for two might not be that expensive...

My Dbf did not want to go... he said he couldn't afford it, and honestly, he was right. :sad1:

But I could.

So I started talking about bring my little sister, the STAR of this story, to Disney...

And let me interdouce you to her...

Sage princess: (Dlsis) 9 years old. She's the youngest of us sisters (we're 22, 21, and 18) and so she's really grown up as the baby of the family. When us three were younger we lived in CA and had Disneyland APs... some of my favorite memories were of being dropped off in the parks while my mom went shopping (at about 12 or so).

We did make a trip to DW when she was about 4 or 5, but she honestly dosen't remember very much. She remembers being scared on the HM, but other than that, the trip for her is a blur.

The reason I really wanted to take her was because during EVERY trip we took, she was the ONLY one that would listen to my touring plans, my ADRs, and let me tell her, in detail, about our trips. She CARED! She's my little future Diser and honestly, I feel more like a mom/sister/aunt than anything... we're really close and I know that this is going to blow her mind.

So after I had decided that we WERE going on the trip... the hard part came.

Convincing my parents to allow their youngest 9 year old daughter go cross country with her 22 year old sister.

Alone.

:headache:

So that's when the Dbf stepped in and said, hey, you know what? I'll go. And that almost convined them... :guilty:

And then, poof, bright idea.

I told my mom that maybe she should go too. You know my mom works SOOOO hard. She not only homeschools my two younger sisters full time, but now she works part time at the church in the youth ministry position, and she NEVER takes time out for herself.

Besides, I knew that I could boss Sage, the Dbf and my mom around pretty easily. No arguing on ADRs or order of rides or order of parks... it was a pretty neat idea... :rolleyes1

Until... (dramamtic music)

My Sister, Zee and PJ decided to go.

Oh no!
:sad2:

Well, let me explain...

Zee and I used to be really close, but she is JUST as stubborn as I am. Zee does not like to be bossed around, so I was really skeptical when I heard that her and her and PJ wanted to go... so I sat them down and had a talk... I explained that I was the one paying the moola, I was the one that had the idea for her present, and I was the one who knew the most and knew how to make the plans... then something amazing happened...

She agreed with me. :scared1:

So then I started to become excited! And I realized the more the merrier.:grouphug:
