ok so, i know a few people in the military. my oldest brother Jesse J. Schwarztrauber is in the air force along with my sister in law. also, my dad's best friend William Grahm is in the army. and now one of my //best friends// is going into the army reserves. my brother && dads friend have both been deployed and one is leaving again in sept. and one next year. i dont know about anyone else, but im scared to death while they're gone because you never know if they're going to come back.well my friend is leaving for basic training this june, and after that i dont know what hes doing. and its gonna feel like hes been deployed for a few months.

my point is, we hear all about war and fighting and killing and what not in the news && we all just need to remember our soldiers whether it be army navy air force or marines. they're helping keep our freedom. thank you so much men && women fighting for us. it measn the world to me. stay safe.stay strong. you'll always have at least one person back home waiting. ♥

My dad is in the Army. He now works an office job, but he used to be a colonel. He had to get out of the feild after an injury.

My cousin died in the Marines by some guy who through a bomb into their Jeep. I hate that guy. Truly despise him.

People aren't as aware of the war as they used to be. In the old days everyone was affected by war, but not so much anymore.

Two of my ex boyfriends were in the military including one who was over in Iraq in 2004-2005. In addition one of my close friends is over in Korea now waiting to be sent to Iraq. Supporting our troops is not something i have to be TOLD to do it is something I ALWAYS do.

But I do not support this war in any way especially after hearing the stories of my ex who was over there.

I have a long family history in the military. I have a tremendous amount of respect for our soldiers. They posess the rarest kind of courage, and I will always honor and respect them for what they do.

My boyfriend is over in Iraq right now. I hate it. he wont be coming home till christmas but maybe not even then. My dad is also over there. He's not fighting but still he's over there. I can't wait till they come home and this stupid war is over. Bush should have handle this better but I'm not going to go into that. But everyone should support our troops. I have people who go to my school who don't and it makes me so angry.

I like what Shelby said, about supporting the troops.

I do not personally know anyone in the military, but as a lot of the people who are sent off to Afghanistan from Canada, are from CFB Gagetown, which is in my province. When you hear something horrible like 6 Canadian soldiers dying on a day like Easter, you can't help but feel sad about it. All of those 6 were from the Maritimes. Then, not even four days later, two more soliders die =(

I live right by Fort Hood, Texas so I know a lot of people in Iraq or who have family members in Iraq. I see how hard it is on everyone and it breaks my heart.
