Support group for us no pin people!?

Just curious, I am certain that the Explore Your Resort will MOST definitely end with a happy ending! Have yet o see it not work out ( correct me if I am misinformed... seems they get PINS within 2-3 days? NO? )

yep - that's what happened to me - but the two emails were only 4 minutes apart!
 
Leave the itinerary alone ( I only had one itinerary saved at the time of PIN )
You will be logged out when the exit survey is done, but go on the site to make sure.
Yes delete the saved offer, shop for a resort ( your favorite one ) but X out and do not save it again. Price a really crazy one too!

i got an "Explore your Resort" on a resort I don't even think I explored - AK... and I have no interest in that location so ???

Does the PIN sender work week-ends? :)
 
I got my pin yesterday morning (Friday) timestamped at 8:41am. I had followed JGALLANTs advice:
1. New yahoo mail on Wed
2. Created new Disney acct from the Disney Parks website (http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/index?name=HomePage)
3. Priced out deluxe hotels - some with a Platinum package and saved overnight.
4. Created an itinerary saying I was staying off site (in comments: Sheraton Vistana Village) and would buy my tickets on arrival
5. Next day - Went back and deleted saved offers.
6. Got an email to create a vacation video. Did that. Emailed it to myself.
7. Watched part of the video from the link and then used the link from the email to browse vacations again.
8. Did nothing else. White rabbit showed up in my Spam folder on Friday!!!

I had another email that I had created on Tuesday and registered with Disney Parks (created the video and all), but still didn't get a pin on that acct (at least not yet).

I had completely given up hope, so don't give up!!! Thank you all for your help! There is no way I would have scored a pin without all of your advice!

Junkmail for me and not even the snowglobe and not to every account and NEVER to my main account that my current reservation is booked under. I have at least 8 accounts set up and have did just what everyone has said to do. I have used all accounts with our real names (4 different names but real ones) and all the same address. Deleted cookies, deleted saved vacations, saved itineraries then deleted them, left them alone and never logged back on, etc. Some accts are going on two weeks old at the end of next week, some are older. The longest some of them have been left alone is less than a week. Maybe I should just wait longer. I am only looking for FD or the 40% off everything code not just a resort discount so I am a bit picky but have explained my reasoning elsewhere on one of these threads about the need for two rooms and the only option for us is the Ft Wilderness Cabins and they are still more expensive even with the 30% discount than 2 rooms at POP at rack rate.

I guess the best I am hoping for now is the Disney Visa FD offer extending past the Oct 2nd date. :worship:

I've never had the "explore your resort" email. I continually get the snowglobes and letterhead (over and over, even when I don't login to the DD account for over a week, they send me aother one at the same email.... as if they're concerned I didn't receive the first one and it was a matter of life and death).
 
I haven't rec'd any emails past the create your planning video


I'm in the same boat. I received multiple More Disney Parks Magic Ahead emails, two on some accounts (I have 5 now), but nothing else. I only received these in the last several days, though, so who knows. I did make the video on one of them, and then explored resorts while I was on the site. I've pretty much given up on the idea of getting a pin :sad2:, and am now just hoping for a public discount. :goodvibes

No, kimosabe, it doesn't always work... I've explored Kidani 'till I'm blue in the face, and no pin... :furious:
 
I have a current reservation, could that be why? They already know I am going so why am I continually putting all of our names that are the people on this reservation & the same mailing address, birthdates, etc. in their system with different email addresses saying they are staying at AKL, WL, with overpriced packages or staying offsite because it isn't a good deal, when all of our names are on a current reservation with AIRFARE on it.

Don't you think they know this and that is why I am not getting a pin in these emails? They have to be on to this.

I know I had 14 accounts going and the friend that we are traveling with has 3!
So.... I know it is tough to get em! But I really want you guys to keep trying, and it'll come! I KNOW IT!

Only two accounts, I tried all the tricks, and I just saved the $15 K offer, so I'll let that cook over the weekend.

I'm not really worried -- I've got SoG booked for the time I'm planning on going, but we really prefer YC/BC. It'll take a 40% off pin to make it worthwhile, tho'. I may call here in a few minutes to "price some options..."

It boiled down to $248.79 per person per day at WL with QSD, or $258.79/ppd with DP.
YC was $285.44/ppd QSD, or $295.32/ppd with DP.

yep - I've had them say the same thing to me. I couldn't choose which resort, said something to that effect and CM said "yes I can see all the searches and quotes you'v been doing". I said "really?! but there would be MILES of them!" and she said - "yes- there are a lot".

Also with my dining reservations - I was moving my dates and making and cancelling dining reservations and the CM said "gee you've got a lot of reservations happening"

Disney are ALL KNOWING!!
