The "Explore Your Resort" email came 4/28 at 12:58pm. The 20/30/40% off email came on 4/29 at 2:43pm.

made my new account last night through Disney parks
1. got the welcome email last night
2. I created a couple ridiculous saved offers
3. got create your own video today
4. don't know whether to go in and delete or let it sit and bake

where are our cheerleaders with PINs----please advice:cool1:

Based on everything I read, I think you should delete the offers then try to stay off disney. remember to check all of your profiles to make sure you have the email offers checked!

The only other thing I can advise that worked for us. Have your significant other follow all these steps. :rotfl:

The white wabbits will come to you!! :wizard:

I'm not sure. I did NOT log in and I got my PIN code the day after I got the "Explore Your Resort" email. However, I did not recieve the video. Did you have a survey ever pop up for you?

Uhhh I never got the create the video email, but I do know that most people left the Disney site alone for a few days and it seems that most people priced out, saved, and then deleted expensive resorts and deluxe dining and stuff. GOOD LUCK :cheer2:

I'd like to know the answer to this, as well. I thought that the "Explore Your Resort" email was a good sign. Other people have gotten pins after receiving that one. I just keep getting "More Disney Magic Ahead" - the one that asks you to make a video. I don't know whether to click on the link and make the video, or to leave the email alone. I sort of feel like I keep going to the Disney site, and maybe I'm better off not doing that. It's kind of frustrating! Good luck to both of us!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Do you still have any offers saved if so DELETE them today.
Shop at any resort, any package and X OUT! DON'T SAVE.
POP UP SURVEY, say NOT GOOD VALUE
Comment your staying off site for a better value.

YOU REALLY SHOULD GET ONE SOON!!!!!!!!

((((( YES CAPS! I am desperate for some of you's who have been working so hard at it and waiting so patiently for a PIN to get one soon... ))))))

to you guys today!

Cant wait to come home and find great news!

Alright, so can someone please tell me if getting the letterhead is a good thing? I haven't the energy to search for this anymore. I got tired of this PIN game and just booked the Contemporary at full price today. Went to one (of my many!) e-mail accounts on the Disney website and deleted my saved itineraries. I had no saved offers at the time, so the account was then empty. Within 10 minutes, I got the letterhead. They are teasing me. So should I be hopeful again? :confused3 Thanks for your help!

I think it is worth the money saved to keep trying for a PIN, or add free dining on Monday at least.
But its up to you.
It looks like saving an itinerary, and then shopping for a resort
(saving for 24 hrs and deleting the offer vs not saving any )
shopping and x -ing out and doing the survey thing might be the steps to the PIN. I do not know if the survey is key, but it seemed to work for me, and others have not done the survey and still got PINS.

Good Luck to you if you decide to go for it again!
:thumbsup2

I am getting nothing! I created an account for my husband and still nothing but a welcome to Disneyworld.com. I can't swing a trip without some kind of discount! What is a saved offer? I have no worthwhile messages on my saved itinerary, so I deleted it. Advice?

1. Create a new gmail or yahoo account
2. Create a new Profile
3. Wait for Welcome email
4. Update profile ( esp communication preferences )
5. Add favorite resort and preferred package type
6. Create an itinerary ( maybe 2 )
a) you are staying at a NON-Disney Resort and NO to tickets- you will purchase on arrival.
b) other and NO to tickets - purchase on arrival
7. Fill in the Vacation Planner, at bottom of page select
"EDIT ACCOMMODATIONS" - say too much money or whatever,
staying offsite and renting vehicle
8. log - off ( 24hours or so )
9. NEXT DAY: Shop for vacations, play with itinerary,
(((( this is where it seems that we are getting conflicting info ))))
* save an offer for 24 hours or don't, you choose. But
a) IF you save one delete it after 24 hours, shop and X out, don't log out or
close file X out at the top corner of your screen ( ALSO conflicting info regarding Surveys, I say it helped me, but who knows! Anyhow, answer the survey and leave it alone for a day or so. )
b) don't save an offer and X out, and answer survey, if you don't get one then its okay, if you want to get a survey, make sure you clear cookies, allow pop-ups, and security is low setting on computer - most Disney offers
are considered SPAM ( even CM's admit and tell us to check our SPAM/JUNK folders for offers or PINS.

Following these steps you really should get SOMETHING GOOD!

There is another recommendation that gives us another option to register on Disney Parks web -site, you will then get a Mickey Email to
"Conjure up some Disney Magic " by creating a FREE vacation video planner.

* I did this method and I did create the video, if you do this method be sure to go in and update your Disney Profile though, because it is a different set up, and you HAVE to update your communication preferences.

**Also, some say that it has been difficult for Australian, English and Canadians to get PIN emails, (( agreed that they are far and few between ))
So if you have use of a US address you may want to try this. I can't comment on that.

***Some have added hyphens to their name and used married and maiden names or fist and middle in the first box - I don't know about this either.

**** ALL IN ALL BE PERSISTENT KEEP TRYING AND ANY DISNEY EMAIL IS A GOOD SIGN! EXCEPT The silly Disney Insider News! Those are not marketing, those are really junk mail! ;)

Does Disney send pin emails out over the weekend? I am going camping this weekend and wont have access to internet. My saved offers were created last night around 6pm. Do you think I should delete them before 24 hrs or leave them over the weekend?

I've never heard of anyone who got on over the weekend :confused3
But I would delete the saved offers before 24 hours. I only had mine saved for an hour at most before I got the pin.

how long did you have your offers saved for?

I just saved my offers for 24 hours, although previously, I had offers saved for much longer. In that case, though, I never had any itineraries saved, so maybe that's why I never received a pin. Also, I haven't gotten the Explore Your Resort email, and that seems to be one that often preceeds a pin. I've only gotten the More Magic Ahead email, where it asks you to "conjure" a video using the Disney site's on-line tool. We'll see what happens today. Maybe today will be the day! Good luck to all of us who are still waiting!:goodvibes

Thanks for all of this detailed advice!! I'm going to keep trying - - at least for a little bit longer! :goodvibes

I just wanted to thank all of you for your words of encouragement, advice and allowing me to whine when I didn't recieve my PIN code. I called this morning and applied the PIN to our existing POFQ reservation. I truly appreciate everyone and their help in securing a white rabbit.

To those without PINs, KEEP TRYING!!! They will come!

Anyone get a pin code today?? I seems kinda quite lately on here. I hope everyone is getting lucky!!!

I received the create your video offer on 2 of my 6 accounts. I went ahead and did so. Then ignored the accounts again.

Today, on 1 of the accounts, I received the letterhead.

I noticed both of the accounts that received the "video" email (and later 1 received the letterhead) - these were accounts created at Disney Parks

no, I still want a PIN (don't like disney's dining plan & don't have a Disney Visa)... I have just given up hope... only public offers for me, I guess. :snooty:

Me too! The free dining will not work out for us because we have the GAD ticket discount and I don't want to have to buy three two-day park tickets in order to get FD.

I have tried everything. Like twelve accounts. No pins. I even opened up two g-mail accounts and did everything I was supposed to do. Only ONE out of all my accounts got the explore your resort email. All the others got the stationary, the video, and all the other pinless people pacifications from Disney.

Only ONE account, one of the g-mail accounts, got a resort email today (it's been 4 days since I created that account), and I am convinced the only reason it did, was because I used my childhood home address, where my son now lives. Disney hasn't seen that address connected to my name since 1983!!!:rotfl:

Anyhow, it kind of irks me that my name/address is so heavily blacklisted that even with a dozen or so accounts, NOT ONE PIN in like 13 years. :confused3

Basically, without a pin, we are not going. It's not sour grapes, I'm not that petty and I like Disney too much to rebel, it's a matter of not willing to stay value. I'm spoiled. Need a pin for deluxe (or even mod).

All that said, I am going to be ordering my guide book for Universal Studios from Amazon because when we DO get to Disney, we are also going to Universal for the very first time to see Harry Potter! Why if I listen closely, I can hear the music now....

tink
ps. sorry, I think being pinless has really gotten to me, lol. Do you hear that, Disney? I need a pin! I NEED A PIN!!! STICK ME, PLEASE!!!!

DON"T GIVE UP!! I'm certain they'll come to each in time :cheer2:

What's on your different accounts? And have you left them alone for a while? That seems to be key. PLus pins can come weeks later :goodvibes
