Support group for us no pin people!?

I too have used every option and have been to Disney many times. I have almost given up. My daughter got one and she was under my name!! This just plain sucks!! If I go- knowing the people next to me probably paid alot less- it's very disappointing!!

I've done everything I can to get a pin code. But alas nothing has come from it yet . Of course my email isn't working properly this morning so I can't see if one came today. Granted, the code isn't going to save me a ton of money, only about 150 dollars. But I want a code .

I've got 3 e-mail accounts on the go - tried all of the methods - nothing, nada, zip.

Sigh.

What makes it worse is I'm trying to get a pin code for our trip in December - it's our 20th wedding anniversary and our daughters 11th birthday (both are on Dec 1st). Dh can never get time off in Nov or Dec except this year he swung it (played the 20th anniversary card hard). The trip is a complete surprise for DD. Dh knows about it (obviously) but he thinks I'm going to book us into AS Music like usual - surprise that I'm trying really hard for is to stay at our dream resort AKL! With the 40% pin it's possible - without it no way we're at AS Music. UGH can't even share the anguish of the elusive pin with Dh!!

At least they've unlocked my access to the reservations module again, but I've done all I can think of and the computer still won't push out a pin to me. update -- I'm locked out again...

Now for the key question -- how do you resist the urge to reach right thru the monitor and dopeslap those pin-huggers???

It's driving me a bit potty...wiping the knuckle prints off my monitor...

TRY a new address.... someone else said they created two new accounts and used two new separate addresses and got pins on both!

Another pin loser here. I have 5 emails going, 3 news ones just this week since I drank the kool aid last Saturday too and caught the pinfluenza.

Wouldn't cha know it? Disney's ressie system online is down! GRRRR. I'm going to have some serious withdrawl symptoms if it isn't back up soon.

Here's a sad story for you: I pin'sleuthed under an old Yahoo email address a couple of days ago and went to check it today. Well, the mailbox was defunct since I hadn't used it before and ALL EMAILS WERE BEING BOUNCED PER YAHOO! So maybe I got a pin under that name... but I wouldn't know it. AARRGGHHH! Calling WDW tomorrow to check.

You can call to see if you received a PIN? What do you say? Did I receive a PIN discount code? I was always wondering if I got one and it was sent to my work email spam box. I just recently realized that I had set up an acount on the Disney site with that email addy. I actually don't remember setting it up But after I realized it, I checked my spam folder and sure enough.....

No PIN but I did have emails from Disney Destinations.

So... here is where you will get comfort and consolation if you have tried absolutely everything in your power, your but is fused to the computer chair, fingers glued to the keyboard, flipping back and forth from DIS to Disney website to email #1, email #2, email #3, email #4.... and so on

You could List things like
WHEN you first started becoming addicted to trying the infamous PIN METHOD STEPS!
HOW MANY BLOODY EMAILS AND PROFILES you are 'babysitting',
WHAT you have done.... oh and ...
(((( How much neglect your husband, kids, dogs, work, housework... have suffered ))))....

I will promise do my very best to keep the hope alive because of OP like ZAMBONIMAN and others that we witnessed and are witnessing every day going through the daily Disney grind to obtain the all powerful holy grail to unlock the door to our dream discounts!

I know its all cheesy... just THINK I am dyin here... life needs to go on soon, and I am an addict now.... in the black hole of the internet.


HHHHMMM.... Now that I think of my own experience...
I ONLY JUST started getting hooked on Saturday morning...
I was a doubting Thomas, at that point who had just ONE EMAIL AND ONE PROFILE with Disney... thats when it all started for me... YUP It was...Saturday Morning... from there I am pretty sure I have created aprox ONE account and profile PER DAY... Totalling 10 accounts... ((( all lined up neatly in a row on my iphone, checking them obsessively by the hour, errrr .... minute! )))
THREE of the nine I had my friend sign up for, they go with us each year ... some are in my DH's name, we have called, a few times... some are in kids names... I will possibly post more antics later... I have an appointment this aft... which I am sure I will be late for because of my OBVIOUS obsession!

Don't worry. That's totally what this thread is about

Ok. I had created a second Disney account with my gmail email last week and I did not put in an address. Today, I cleared absolutely everything including cookies, logged into Disney under the gmail account and added my last address. In that Disney account, I have one itinerary that says that we are going in Nov and are staying offsite and need tickets. Here's hoping. OH and I had previously priced some vacations, saved them, and then deleted them. And I've logged out.

In my other Disney account, it has my yahoo email and my parents' address. On that one I have deleted all saved offers and have created two itineraries: one saying that we need accomodations and tickets, and one saying that we are staying offsite and need tickets.

If I don't get a pin tomorrow, I'll probably create a new Disney account (after clearing absolutely everything) on Tuesday and maybe use my sister's address and say that's where I plan to live once I return from volunteering. I know that pins can come like a week later, but I'm getting impatient (really?) and I'm worried about this disclaimer saying that the itinerary option on the Disney site is going to disappear or change or whatever.
