Side note: For injuries like neck strain, ice is the better choice for the first 24 hours. Not as pleasant as heat, but it stops inflammation for faster healing. Heat might make it feel better temporarily for a few minutes, but in the early stages can do more harm than good. After the first day or so, if it's still bugging ya, then it's time to bust out the heating pad. I'm a massage therapist, so I hear about sore necks pretty frequently
I think I'm down another pound this week, but with my @$!%@ scale I don't know for sure. For a more reliable test I tried on my shorts from last summer. I had taken them on a vacation in April, only to find they no longer fit when I tried to put them on.
I had been in denial about gaining weight til that moment. I can definitely see improvement! They're still pretty snug, but 2-3 more weeks should do it!
